Let’s face it - every Legends: Z-A fan will agree with me on this - the world needs more Canari. What’s not to love about her? She’s cute, a great gamer and Pokémon battler, has tons of adoring fans, and a whole gaggle of other good features I can’t remember. Not to mention her crashouts are comedy gold.

So I say we improve every piece of media there is by putting Canari in it!

This is a game called “…Now Starring Canari!” It’s very simple to play - all you do is take the last non-Pokémon piece of fictional media you consumed - a book, TV show, video game, what have you - and tack “…Now Starring Canari!” onto the end of the title. Then drop the streamer of DYN4MO into it! How does she interact with the cast? Does she affect the plot? Do the characters become true Canatics?

Let me begin!

Mario Kart World… Now Starring Canari!

And now I’ve got the hilarious mental image of Canari crashing out after losing a race in my mind.
 
It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown... Now Staring Canari!

I'm imagining her taking the place of Lucy and crashing out after she says "Hockey stick" instead of "Hark." Alternatively, have her replace Charlie Brown and take a shot every time she crashes out. You'd be blackout drunk by the end of the, what, 20-30 minute show?
 
Kirby Air Riders... Now Starring Canari!

I'm just picturing Canari in City Trial. Someone knocks her off her machine, and she crashes out. She retaliates by assembling the three pieces of Gigantes and using the giant doomsday machine to wreck everyone's s%#@.
 
I don't remember which was more recent, so here's two!

A Hat In Time... Now Starring Canari!
I assume Canari would take the place of Hat Kid, since that would be more in line with the "starring" bit. I could see her crashing out all the way down to the planet after the Mafia guy initially busts into her ship and scatters the Time Pieces, when she has her falling out with Mustache Girl, in response to the Conductor's shenanigans with his sets (and, conversely, thriving under DJ Grooves, at least at first), and in response to a lot of the Subcon Forest situations (which Hat Kid already gripes plenty about in her diary). (I haven't beaten the C3 boss, a good bit of C4, or the final level, so I can't say how she'd respond to those.)

Zorro (1957)... Now Starring Canari!
I'm not sure how this would work, TBH. Canari doesn't seem like a good fit, character wise, to take the place of Zorro – that kind of role requires a degree of level-headedness that Canari famously lacks, unless you want to make the show much more aggressively comedic and derive much of the comedy from how she manages to maintain her cover despite that flaw – and I can't really see her being the kind of antagonist Zorro would oppose, either. Maybe she takes the place of Sgt. Mendoza as a bumbling but ultimately good-hearted lesser authority figure, or gains some other major supporting role? But that's really stretching the definition of "starring." Her presence would lend itself well to plenty of amusing anachronisms, that's for sure.

I imagine Canari would crash out every time she defeats one of the Koopas’ castles, only to be told the princess is in another castle.
