NPBA: National Pokemon Battle Association.
Disclaimer: Many of you have read this a million times and you will read it again. I don't own Pokemon and any other related to it. Some of the characters are not official Pokemon characters but other characters from WWE like the Boogeyman and MVP, which I don't own. (Surprising, isn't it.) Man, it's hard to be sarcastic on the internet.
Rated PG (Like anybody cares.)
INTRODUCTION
The National Pokemon Battle Association is where the best of the best trainers come out and become the Champion of Champions. All trainers from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Shinnoh come to compete in front of thousands of people to show off their greatest. This year, Ash Ketchum is qualify to battle.
*alarm ringing and then turned off*
" ......Today the day!" exclaimed the black hair trainer. Ash rush to his closet and changes into his old clothes. The one with the blue vest and old hat. He ran down the stairs. "Come on, Pikachu! It's time to get ready!" "Pika," said the half-awaked pokemon. Ash turned on the TV and put it on the NPBA channel.
There were three people on the screen. "Hello, I'm Jim Ross." said JR. "Here with me is Joey Styles, and legendary trainer John Bradshaw Layfield. This year is going to a real slobber knocker. Isn't that right JBL."
John responded, "It sure is JR. Here's some of the trainers that will be competing. Let's start at the Kanto Region. First, is last year champion, Lance the dragon trainer. He has an impressive line up but his 'top dog' is Dragonite. Next, we have two rookies from Pallet Town. Gary Oak and Ash Ketchum. Gary, grandson of Professor Oak, is one of the fastest rising star. He and his Blastoise are a tough team to beat. Ash ,on the other hand, is considered to be the biggest underdog in this league. He's impressive but his strongest pokemon is a Pikachu. It may be tough for the kid but he could be a contender. Now in the Johto region. We have Misty the water pokemon trainer. Born in Kanto, she transfer to Johto to give the region some competiton. Next we have MVP. His line-up is not good but he only needs one pokemon, a giant Rhydon from the Orange League. From the Hoenn league, we have Kane, the fire pokemon trainer. His pokemon dominates Hoenn with his Infernape. Next, is Big Daddy V, the master of steel type. His Steelix has been known to cause destruction and mayhem throughout the league. And last but not the least in the Shinnoh league. First, we have the Boogeyman. He's a creepy guy with ghost pokemons but his strongest pokemon a Croagunk. And our last trainer that we going to mention today is a rookie name Paul. This guy has a unique way to train. He pretty much sign and release pokemon. He gets rid of the weak and catch something stronger. They're many more trainers but we don't have much time. Keep tuning in. Now we have Joey Styles to explain the game."
"Hi, I'm Joey Styles. This is some of the rules. First, the Home court advantage. The hometown trainer have the right the have any field like Misty's waterfield, Kane's lava field, or the Boogeyman's bog field. The bog is like mud but you could sink inside it. With home court, you also can pick the type of battle either single or double. The down side of having home court is that only the visitor can subsitute their pokemon. Next is the fan support which is having the crowd behind you. I guess that's pretty much it. The season starts in a couple of days so get ready trainers."
Ash turned off the TV. "Wow Pikachu! I can't believe that they mentioned me on television," said Ash. "I'm proud of you, Ash." said Ash's mom. "Hey mom, I didn't know you were awake." responsed Ash, "Well, I need to go to Professor Oak lab. He's going to assign me to a stadium for me and Gary." "All right dear," said Mrs. Ketchum while smile, "Have fun and good luck."
Ash and Pikachu went outside and headed towards Professor Oak lab. "Hey Pikachu." said Ash "Once the season begins, we'll show JBL and everybody else want we can do!" "Pikachu!" exclaimed the yellow pokemon.
To be continued......
