Here's an NU team I'm trying out. I still have some work to do but it has its number of successes. in P.O. this team got me to about rank 151 (I was very low on the ladder), but I know its not saying much. Feedback would be great!

Onix (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 224 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Stone Edge
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Dragon Tail

- I usually lead with him. Unless I get taunted I can get usually get up stealth rocks. I usually just use stealth rock and dragontail, I toxic walls and very occasionally stone edge but its an after thought on onix really. I'm thinking of switching it because that there is gotta be a better pokemon out there to do this and who has a better attack. I do like its eviolite boosted defenses though.

Articuno @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Heal Bell
- Roost
- Ice Beam
- Toxic

- my number 1 favourite stall in NU. it has gotten me out of jams even with that stealth rock weakness. If I come in on a weak attack or a switch I can just usually roost off damage. neutral (even single boosted) special attacks doesn't do much at all and I am usually able to stall special attacks until opponents dies/gives up or I run out of roost pp.

Carracosta (F) @ White Herb
Trait: Solid Rock
EVs: 124 HP / 76 Atk / 56 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Shell Smash
- Aqua Jet
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

- my main physical sweeper and revenge killer for very weakened pokemon. I put her in against a pokemon that doesn't threaten me and shell smash. I can usually knock off a couple of pokemon with this thing.

Tauros (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Retaliate
- Earthquake
- Frustration
- Stone Edge
- main revenge killer. Probably not as dangerous as choiced sawk but you still WANT to have a physically defensive wall or a ghost to absorb stab boosted retaliate, or frustration. Earthquake and stone edge completes its coverage,, and really only physically defensive behemoths like alomomola, regirock, and similar ones can be a pain in my butt usually even with my coverage. I like cushioning the blows of physical sweepers with intimidate too which is always a nice touch.

Kadabra (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: magic guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Substitute
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

- This is just here to hurt things. horrible defenses but its one of my two frail special sweepers that have mowed down unprepared teams. Magic guard is definitely kadaba's/alakazam's saving grace, at least in my view. sub. specifically for spores, sucker punches and pursuits.

Simisear (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Gluttony
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Fire Blast
- Grass Knot
- Nasty Plot
- Hidden Power [Rock]

my sweeper MVP. If I get an opportunity to set up nasty plot then there not too many safe switch ins. Its pretty fast to so unless my opponent has priority, scarf or a special wall (even that after a nasty plot will get damaged well enough) simisear is a very effective late game sweeper/cleaner upper

So I am pretty happy with my attackers but I feel like support wise I can do better. Any suggestions? Pokemon I seem to despise include scarfed sawk, all forms of exeggutor, and scarfed emboar has been a pain as well, especially if my caracosta and onix both get knocked out.

You may want to run Haunter or another Ghost Type as it could potentially solve all the issues you're having.

@Angad that's a good suggestion. I replaced kadabra with Haunter, since I still wanted a fast special sweepr. At least I get to sponge any predicted fighting or normal moves. Unless I'm up against scrappy but that's not too common.

I also replaced onyx with a stealth rock/exploding regirock with a normal gem. Just a desperation tactic I guess.

@AshK ; I'd replace Kadabra with Haunter and recommend you replace Onix, unless it is actually proving beneficial to your team. I think Graveller outclasses it though.
