I want to get into the NU game since a lot of my favorite Pokemon are in there and I want to see if this team would work out.

Persian @ Silk Scarf
Jolly
Technician
4 HP 252 Atk 252 Spe
- Fake Out
- U-Turn
- Hypnosis
- Return

I hate trying to find a good NU lead, so I just decided to use Persian for a Fake Out Hypnosis lead. Basic really, Fake Out powers up with Technician and Silk Scarf.

Leafeon @ Leftovers
Jolly
Leaf Guard
132 HP 160 Atk 216 Spe
- X-Scissor
- Leaf Blade
- Swords Dance
- Baton Pass

I guess this could be my other lead. Swords Dance up then attack or Baton Pass if it's Steel, Fire, or other types not affected by Bug or Grass

Manectric @ Life Orb
Timid
Static
4 HP 252 SpA 252 Spe
- Flamethrower
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Signal Beam

A decent Special Attacker. Signal Beam because I don't want to breed until HP Grass comes.

Ursaring @ Toxic Orb/Flame Orb
Adamanthttp://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/index.php
Quick Feet
4 HP 252 Atk 252 Spe
- Facade
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch/Ice Punch
- Swords Dance

My favorite Pokemon and my favorite set for it. Quick Feet up by the Orb, then Facade or Swords Dance, then go for the kill.

Lapras @ Leftovers
Modest
Water Absorb
192 HP 112 Def 160 SpA 44 SpD
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Toxic

Not too certain if Water Absorb is needed, but it can help on the switch. my 2nd special attacker. I like Poison more than sleep, so Toxic it is.

Golem @ Choice Band
Adamant
Rock Head
4 HP 252 Atk 252 Spe
- Double-edge
- Stone Edge
- Explosion
- Fire Punch

A good defense I guess. Not too sure about him. If someone can help with the last one that would be nice.

So good? Bad?

If you're unsure about Persian as your lead, Golem could work with Stealth Rock and Roar as well.

You might want to change Manetric's item. With both Substitute and Life Orb and damage, it's not going to last long enough to do much.

With Lapras, I would personally use Sing over Toxic. Just because the rest of the set seems like you're going to try to sweep with it, so increasing Poison damage isn't going to happen- it's kind of a waste of a moveslot. With sleep, the opponent is open for the quick KO Lapras's special moves are meant to give (or it'll force a switch, which would work well if you had Stealth Rock on Golem).

As for the team as a whole, you don't have any walls, or any prominent supporters apart from Leafeon's BP. Maybe incorporate something with high defenses? NU has a lot of cool options, so you'll probably find something you like without much trouble.
