Though I've never been officially diagnosed with it, we all have our little things we do with stuff... for instance, my cellphone is ALWAYS in my right pocket. Money can be in either, but cellphone's always on the right.

So... anyone here obsessive-compulsive about anything?

A few more of my "habits":

-When eating Trix, I used to save the wildberry and watermelons for last.
-When eating Lucky Charms, I avoid the marshmallows until the grain's gone.
-With skittles, I polish off one color at a time, always in this order: Purple/brown, red, orange, green, yellow.
-Whenever I go to the bathroom I always have to have a glass of water (or dring from the water fountain if it's a public bathroom). Though I'm sure this is normal.
-When I eat tortellini (sp), I finish all the yellow ones before touching the green and the red ones. Then those two are each finished one at a time, but not always in the same order.
-Whenever I climb into my room (I'm in the attic), my left foot always has the last rung and my right foot takes the first step in. If I'm going at a pace where I realize it won't end up like that, I switch them so it will.

EDIT: Can someone PLEASE get rid of the caps filter... or somehow make it only filter titles longer than four letters...

I have generalized anxiety disorder (yes, I've been diagnosed), which can often seem like OCD because of excessive worry.

Same here. And I always get upset when a marshmellow gets stuck to the bottom of the spoon and I eat it ;.;

- When I entered my school there was a flight of stairs going down and up. If you went up you'd have to walk down another flight of stairs a little further down to get to my locker. But I went down the first flight of stairs and made my long way around to my locker. I don't know why, I just always did, even though I knew it was faster the other way. And on top of that, during lunch or whatnot when I entered through those doors I could go either way.

- Can't stand when people doodle or draw lines on my paper. I always make them erase it =S Doodles of mine are set aside to either the front or back of the binder. None in the middle.

Nothing else I can think of ATM, but my friend has OCD. He had to chant in the morning and during lunch time. Also he always thought people he didn't know were dirty and wouldn't touch them. So much so, that when someone told him a guy he doesn't like touched his lock (from his locker) he wouldn't touch it. He got someone to wash it xD

I forgot to mention that I did have anxiety disorder at one point.

Some people claim that me washing my hands is OCD, but that's just because those people are filthy. I don't think it's OCD to insist on washing your hands after going to the bathroom or touching trash. I guess people think it's OCD because of the way I really do INSIST on it, like if I'm with someone and they're digging in the trash or using the bathroom and don't wash their hands, I'll yell at them until they do.

If I shake someone's hand, I have to wash my hands afterwards. Same for opening public doors (which I usually do with my hand in my shirt).

My major OCD thing, though, is my pocket pet. I always have to have him with me or I go nuts.

In order for it to qualify as OCD it has to be irrational. Actual science says that public door handles are full of disgusting germs and that they spread disease, so it's not irrational not to touch them.

I don't know if I officialy have OCD, but I have alot of things I do regularly...

*I always go to my homepage when I leave my computer.
*I always go to the bathroom at 11:43 during school.
*I always eat the chocolate around the reeses before the peanut butter.
*I eat all the skin off of an apple before I eat the fruit.

I do a similar thing with Starbursts and such, but I do it according to flavor (I really love the cherry)... unless you're equating the flavor with the color, which does make sense. However, if they were to suddenly mix up the colors (OMG, cherry's now dark purple, lime is orange, and raspberry's pale yellow!), I'd still go by flavor; what would you do?
I'm not so sure that saving the best for last is totally irrational, though.

Yeah! The caps filter sucks.

Ditto, (assuming I didn't cut it up because I don't eat the skin first if I cut the apple up). I do that because 1. otherwise the skin sometimes hurts my gums and 2. I save the best for last.

My more irrational "quirks":

-When I hit the Back button, I feel a strong desire (not really a "need," though) to unhighlight anything that's not in a typing box (like a search thing or this message box I'm typing in right now) that I may have highlighted. Don't feel it with going forward, though.

-Very occasionally, I'll feel the desire to... make things feel the same on both sides of my body, I guess. That is, as long as it's not too intense, such as burns or skin-breaking cuts/scrapes/pokes. For example, if one of my legs were to be touched, I'd touch the other in the corresponding spot in a way such as to replicate the original touch. It's a bother when the original touch was hot (like one of my hands being near the metal handle of a recently used pot), when it was sharp, or when one side of my mouth is numbed and something happens to the feeling side. (Another bother is when I somehow get an itch on the numb side [WTH?], but can't relieve it by scratching because the area's numb....)

-When I was younger, I "needed" to watch Pokémon every time it came on. If I didn't, I grew [more] depressed, cranky, and listless. Thank God I grew out of that. >_>
