Have you ever seen a part in a game contridict it's self, if so, share it with the class

Mine, If cubone is so sad about losing it's mom then why when I bring him out, he looks really happy?

You can't see its face, how can you know if it looks happy?

Anyway for me its my Docile Kabutops. Kabutops are known for ripping enemies open and drinking their bodily fluids, yet he is also docile.

Yea, i have a Jolly Cuebone
and a Modest Machamp

the most powerfull thing...ever
and it's modest

Since there's already a thread on Ironic natures of Pokemon you have caught, this topic's focus should continue more along the lines of ironic aspects of a game's narrative, or a particular Pokemon's backstory. TheVecan's comment about Cubone is a good example of this, as it focuses on what we're told in the games about Cubone (through NPCs or Pokedex entries), rather than a specific Cubone's nature.

I always thought it was funny how SGC made eating Slowpoke tails out to be so evil, then offered it as an item you could buy later on (not talking about the 1,000,000 pokemon money one).

They say that the skull on Cubone's head is from its dead mother, but I can breed 2 Marowak and the mother is still alive and still has a head.

Here's one similar to the previous 2 posts:
-Erratic-growing Pokemon (like the Nincada, Cranidos and Swablu lines) are hard to raise from the start, but easier to raise later on.
-Fluctuating-growing Pokemon (like the Shroomish, Makuhita and Drifloon lines) are easy to raise from the start, but harder to raise later on.

Pokédex entries, and quite much the whole Pokédex itself. Why does Professor Oak/Birch/Rowan have to send a ten-year-old kid to collect entries of all Pokémon if the Pokédex, developed by Oak himself, has already built-in entries of every Pokémon? I mean, someone must've already seen those Pokémon if they can describe them in the Pokédex. It's not like the device could make up the entries on the fly.

And how can the Pokédex identify a Pokémon, really?

Pretty much what I was gonna say.

It seems like a missed opportunity. They could have showcased his manipulation, his hidden emotions (since we know he DOES have them, as much as he tries to deny them), his scientific bent, but nothing! It's just there!

I think when it comes to Crobats/Happiness evolutions with Heartless team heads, I think the Pokemon share a similar way of thinking with the trainer; therefore them being happy with the evil deeds of their trainer?

That's what I've always thought.

This is a battle between my Swinub and a wild Stanler:

Sw: Ice Shard
St: Hypnosis
Sw: *fell asleep*
St: Leer

If Swinub is asleep, how can leer work? I mean, their eyes are closed!
