Eh, even though it has a carbonized filament dating from Edison, it isn't very bright. You can see that from the pictures. Not many lumens=long life. What's really surprising it wasn't tossed into the trash decades ago.

I saw that light bulb on Myth Busters. It has a thick filament that has let it live for years.
