Odd Shippings

Have you ever come across odd pairings while searching the net? While looking for Roark images, I've come across of a lot of him and Volkner together, and a few of him and Riley.
So what odd ones have you seen of, heard of.
 
I like a lot of pairings people consider odd. Of course, I don't consider most of them odd since they make sense to me, but hey.

I suppose Airshipping (Giovanni/Jirarudan) is odd...

I think the strangest ship I support, in terms of characters, is Kefka/Maria from FFVI. We don't even *see* Maria. All we know about her is that she looks exactly like Celes. And you just *know* he'd be into that.
 
Hmm, Fatfishshipping is strange in my opinion. But so are many others...
 
Did you know that about 78% of Riley's ships are gay? He has fourteen ships total and only three of them are straight. And one of the females he's paired with is Dawn, which I think is really wrong and perverted. Why the hell would a ten year old girl have an interest in a man who's maybe around ten years older than she is? And who came up with it?!

Actually, he's got five 'ships with girls: Cheryl, Cynthia, Dawn, Lady Ilene, and Johto!Marina. Now, not liking a 'ship for age is one thing, but given that Oak/Misty's been around for far longer, 'ten years' is hardly a big deal when it comes to Pokémon. And I wouldn't be too hard on it. I hear IronWill's pretty popular regardless.

And I wouldn't say 'total'. You obviously skipped over the ones with pokémon and more than two people in it, and those count. *nod* He really has 22. ...Which is rather on the low side. *is surprised he wasn't given 'ships with Maylene, Jasmine, Mira, or Marley yet* Ah well.

Odd = subjective, especially in this fandom. =O

I actually find Ikarishipping quite odd. O.o Not just the ship itself but the fact that it's so popular to the point of being a typical "mainstream het" ship, yet it's just as unlikely to happen as any of the...conventionally "odd" ships. But that's just me. ^^;
 
Oh, I agree, Whiscash. I *guess* it's cause they're both main characters, and the het shippers just want to put something up that won't compete when they write Poke/Contest/Ikari...

Since that triad is flooding ff.net
