Of course there won't be a third gen remake

At least until DS cards become incompatible with the new handhelds. FRLG were made because Red and Blue couldn't interact directly with the third generation. then they added the Sevii islands so Johto Pokemon would be attainable. Now with HGSS, all the locations are compatible. The next handheld, the DS's successor will have a DS slot. Then the successor's successor will have a slot made for the successor. I remember reading an interview that they plan six generations total and that's the end of it. So yeah, that's just my opinion, though. Theories?
