So, in the past few days i have 1.) bought a new DSi and 2.) found my heartgold game. I figured this called for a giveaway.
Shiny azelf lv. 50 UT naive nature 30/x/x/x/x/30. All that is required is whatever you give me must have a rare candy attached. the first 15 people to post saying why heartgold is better than soul silver get one! Whith the change of DS my new FC is 1205 3471 6628 Unless it takes a really long time to get all 15 out, i wont start distributing untill over.

EDIT- sorry guys, but i was mistaken. The IVs are 9/28/1/14/12/30. Im sorry i claimed it had a higher attack.

Well HG is was better than SS because it features the one and only HO-OH. Ho-oh has been in pokemon from the very first episode and has always marveled us with its rainbows while Lugia, the featured legend of SS was never all that great to me although it had a movie about it mainly, also Ho-oh's design > Lugia's. HG also gets better exclusive pokemon and Latias w/o and event.

thats the main reason why i think HG is superior to SS
 
HeartGold is better than SoulSilver because it's got Ho-Oh as the main legendary. In Pokémon Colosseum, Ho-Oh was a hero and prevented Cipher from escaping. Lugia sucks because it got captured in Pokémon XD. And Sacred Fire looks much cooler than Aeroblast.
 
Heartgold actually has more better exclusive pokemons which are widely used these days (arcanine, gliscor, phanpy, mantine, etc evo lines) compare to Soul Silver (i can only think of Skarmory and Ninetales).

I also think that Ho-oh was more loved by gamefreak because its story is much better than Lugia. I loved the story about Ho-oh and the beast trio compared to the story of Lugia with the bird trio, which I'm not sure was it told within the game.
 
One of the reasons why Heartgold is better than SS is that you can get your Life Orb earlier ;)

(Edit#2: also, SRing for a shiny Kyogre is more exciting than trying for a shiny Groudon. Shiny Kyogre is bright fluorescent Magenta!! Epic win.)

heartgold is better because it has sableye, which has no type weaknesses and the claw fossil to obtain armaldo. Not to mention that you get early access to ho-oh.
 
SS is better than HG because the starting page in HG is a fail 3D attempt of flying Ho oh!! While in SS it's night time so graphics are look cooler xDD Lol, Do I win?? xD Ok fine, HG is better because I have it!!
 
HeartGold has Growlithe and SoulSilver does not. Makes me sad, since Growlithes are awesome. =[

That was honestly my only reason for getting HG, and I don't even need to catch a Growlithe xD
 
i love heart gold cause
1. it was my first pokemon game when i was a little kid
2.when i bought both games when they came out i got only the heartgold figure
3.its the game i use fot battles
4.has the awsome kyogre with drizzle
5. preittier box art
6.lugia is saved for later because its soo hard to get to
7.u can get the sacred ash for the elite 4
8.its heartgold &soulsilver
not soulsilver &heartgold,
thus giving it more respect
9. gold is more valueable than silver
10.its menu with ho-oh is awsome cause it makes him look liek hes going into space
11.can get latias-ash's love

1. Arcanine is a BAMF
2. Sacred Fire is the coolest fire move(possibly coolest move) ever.
3. I had the original gold version.
4. I bought HG for my little bro because I'm cool like that
5. The title screen looks better
6. I had to do a presentation on gold when I was 14
7. Donphan>Ursaring
8. Kyogre is water, which is super effective against Groudon
 
HG is better than SS because, well, of the Pokemon. You get to breed/train powerful Pokemon early, namely Growlithe/Arcanine and Gligar/Gliscor. Also I personally believe Ho-Oh is the superior legendary when it compared to Lugia. It's defenses and attack are amazing so it makes it a tough attacker to beat down. And, honestly, I loved Ho-Oh's battle music morwe than Lugia's.
