(if this actualy get popular it might need to be stickey'd, but only if it gets realy big)

One of the things a lot of people have trouble with in pokemon is building a good party. "What could be so hard about that?" you might say. "You just get the pokemon you find along the way and it works!"
well, no. it does NOT work, perhaps it would work for beating the eleit four, and maby even red, but thats not how you build a GREAT party, thats how you build a mediocer one. thats not going to win championships, and frankly you might not even like the pokemon you are using.
I have a good amount of experiance in building partys to stick with in HG/SS, and i realized that my party just wouldnt work, it had too many weaknesses, and not many strenghts. i had gone through the game fighting and winning only because of my LEVEL. it was a mistake, as we know, typ advantages are greater than levels.
SO. after i built my team from the ground up, i decided to try and help other people do the same. i might not be able to get you the pokemon, but i can help you decide which ones you want to get.
The basic system i have found for building a party is first deciding what kinds of pokemon you like. i dont mean elements, i mean things like wheather or not you want to use gender specific pokemon or if you just dont care. when i built my team i wanted to use rare typ comboes, so i built an almost entirely gen 3 team, as gen 3 had a lot of random stuff.
step 2 is to figure out what niches your team needs to fill.
step 3 is to find the acual pokemon you want, this can be done before step 2 if wanted.
step 4 is to decide how to train them.
step 5 is to get the pokemon themselves.
step 6 is completion. after this point you either have the base of the party or the fully trained version. the most important part of this is finding pokemon that you want to use, then adding them together to make a balanced team.
i find the balancing hardest myself... but that was just me.
so. anyone need some help?
