You don't need an egg to IV train, anyway, I trained it purely, is there any other way to describe that. ANyway Shaymin is the Toys r us one

That doesn't change the fact that event Pokemon are not shiny. Please note that trading hacked Pokemon is allowed, but you must be honest about it, otherwise you'll receive an infraction.
 
Actually, they gave away a Shiny Melotic at the US Pokemon National Championships. There is a list of Event Pokemon on bulbapedia and which ones are shiny and which ones aren't.

I do have all of the legendary birds and a shiny Nicada (The first shiny I ever caught that wasn't a Gyarados lol)
