Okay. I'm, as well as Pie, and possibly a lot of people here, sick of every thread in this forum turning into a Ash stays/leaves debate. Therefore I'm creating this thread so people discuss to their hearts' content without hijacking other threads.

Let the debate commence....
 
Ah okay, I was partially to blame for that.

Well, many people on Pokeani are saying that their was a picture of him, Aipom, Pikachu, and Meowth in a Magazine with DP Title 1, so I say he is staying.
 
What, no Jessie or James? I haven't seen said picture so I offically don't know but really want him to take a hike.

Does Ash have new clothes or is he in his AG clothes?

Why would they change series and not give Ash new clothes?

If he's still in his AG clothes, maybe it was just advertising the last episodes of AG

Just how long do you intend to keep spreading this misinformation? Do you not reckon that such a picture would have been uploaded as soon as possible?
 
I dunno.....I haven't seen the scan exactly.

But I say he has a good chance of going to Shinou.

Oh chill out, I'm not spreading mis-information saying that people on Pokeani were talking about it. Therefore, it probably is real.
 
We don't know, from what I recall they didn't say which clothes he was wearing. And it said Ash was going to that city and that Hikari will meet three people. Also I think Ash is def staying, there are too many signs saying he's staying.
 
The three people, could possibly be Ash, May, and someone else.

Or, it could be Professor Nanakamodo, DP Boy, and DP Rival.
 
I seriously think its Ash and maybe Gary along with possibly Max or May. There are too many signs pointing to Ash staying, plus the calander that got posted with all of Ash Pokemon on it along with the new D/P Pokemon.
 
That Calendar shouldn't be taken really for proof. Although it is an interesting choice of Pokemon.

However, the keychain set with the starters, Pikachu, Meowth, AND Aipom bearing the DP Anime logo is a good sign.

You are spreading misinformation by twisting their words. I have notified you of your mistake, and while I can understand why you would want confirmation by some more objective party, there is no excuse for your exaggerated certainty.
 
Jeez, Gary is not going to join the cast.

They're already pushing it with a possible 4 or 5 person cast, there's no room for Gary.

He'll be a recurring character like he should be. Just be glad Gary made a comeback in the anime at all, because we're damn lucky to even see him again.

Pikachu will ALWAYS be a mascot. It's a living plushie for crying out loud. So of course (and because it will be avaible in Shinou) Pikachu will be everywhere (as well as many other Pokemon who don't necessarily star in the anime). But that doesn't mean Ash will continue into D/P.

And that scan would be on EVERY Pokemon site from here to Walla Walla.

Don't forget we've been joking about the cast for the past week. Why can't the Japanese?

And not nesscairly, I mean a picture of Ash, Aipom, and Pikachu wouldn't be that big of a deal, I'm just saying it gives me hope.

I am on the opposition's side, in case you have not noticed. My opinion is not welcome here; I can delve and go in-depth into my reasons, and you will have nothing at all to say in return. I have had this experience before; it is easy to dismiss my views on the charge that the anime has been stale for the past decade revolving around the "face of Pokémon", yet its satisfactory ratings dictate that no change is necessary. More than I am interested in Ash staying in Kanto where he belongs, I want to be assured by the writers that I am not wasting my time following this series.

It just so happens to be blatantly obvious, as is the fact that Ash has yet to be shown in any of the advertisements.
 
It's not "blatantly obvious".

I'm just saying, you seem to only be arguring against reasons of Ash staying instead of providing reasons of him leaving.
