Official rotation for 2016 Pokémon TCG Standard, Expanded formats announced: New season has begun

The official rotation for the 2016 Pokémon TCG Standard and Expanded formats has been announced. The new season began July 13.

Additionally, the Pokemon.com website has a supplementary article noting some of the imediate effects of this rotation:

- No more Virbank Gym or Hypnotoxic Lasers.
- No more Ace Specs.
- No more Mew-EX (aka no more Dimension Valley Versatile Night March combo).
- No more Garbotoxin.
