I see Patriot getting shot down by helicopters... For a powerless kid, he sure does get shot a lot.

Miriam Sharpe was a wonderful idea. In that panel where she stands in front of the White House gate I feel truly sorry for her. Maybe it's partly because she spit at Tony in the face. Yeah, I'm pretty anti-Iron Man. He can be a futurist all he wants, but it doesn't excuse him from being an arsehole. Using Spider-Man the way he did has gotten me ticked at him.

Sam Wilson forgot to shave.

I was thinking the "Wolverine threatened the president" thing was Wolverine: Origins. Having it be Enemy of the State makes much more sense.

I was wondering what was the story behind Philadelphia. Just more proof that I fail because I don't read the post-Disassembled Captain America.

Am I the only one that screamed "Take that, Maria Hill!" when Cap went rogue? That was easily the best part.

Cap going against SHIELD, and the conversation between the two was, easily, my favorite part. They gave Cap a legit reason to go against this instead of just using him because he's a big name. I just hope we see US Agent hunting him down.

Yes! *loves US Agent* That would be the greatest thing ever.

I also love your sig banner, GrnMarvl13...

Got it from here. Scroll down towards the bottom, there's one for each side.

I have to say, after reading the She-Hulk crossover, the first issue of Front Line, and the Wolverine crossover...I'm realling loving Civil War. The three are easily the best issues I've read in some time. From Slapstick appearing in She-Hulk, to old-school Wolverine to a REALLY great commentary on America utilizing an infamous poem and one of the most repeated phrases in all comicdom...I'm just loving Civil War.

Hindsight turns traitor. Speedball LIVES. And Wolvie takes things personally. Great stuff. Can't wait for Civil War #2 next week. Supposed to be a jaw-dropper and a can't-miss for Spidey fans.

Okay, I'm going to assume everyone's read issue two in this post... if not, why are you reading this? The topic title has 'Spoiler-Full" in it...

I shouted "Holy sh!t they did it!" when I turned the page. Really, I did. I'm surprised but not surprised. After reading the first part of Amazing (which is great btw), I was expecting the press confrence to be interrupted by Cap's group or something like that. But nope! I'm Peter Parker and I'm Spider-Man what's up? :D

They should have formatted it better though. I flipped the page and saw the "event". Then I had to force myself to not read ahead and read the page on the left... which has kind of hard to do when I was completely in shock. Absolute shock. I don't go to any comic boards, but I'm sure the internet has cracked in half there by now. Take THAT, Bendis!

Surprisingly, I'm not getting upset about this. Of course this won't end well for poor Spidey, but it makes sense for the time. I trust Millar and JMS, although the second much less.

And it seems ol' Norman's going to have a huge presence. Good, I was worried he'd just be in Front Line for no reason at all. Though I am worried for Urich... Goby's going to quite pissed at him...

And Venom! Ooooooooooooh! What's with him? Again, surprisingly, I'm not going "this will suck!" despite the symbiote's existance! Yeah, wtf! I'm excited! Wait to go, Marvel! Disassembled and HoM sucked but at least you go this gem that I love and have super high hopes for!

And Young Avengers #12 really should have been out by now, it's so hard seeing their "future" in Civil War when I still don't know what happens to them in their own series!

And seriously, Patriot gets shot a lot. XD At least he found the magic of a bulletproof vest!

And so much for Spidey getting back to his roots...

Now that Spidey's outed, are there ANY Marvel Superheroes with a secret Identity? At this point, it seems like a purely DC thing nowadays.

Well, you have to keep in mind that pretty much everyone already knew his identity by now. The Avengers knew, his wife knew, his aunt knew, Norman knew, Venom knew, Doc Ock USED to know, Urich probably knew, Robbie probably knew, and the list goes on an on. So this really makes sense, and I'm surprised it took this long.

As to who still have their identities: Daredevil. The Daredevil we see in Civil War is NOT Matt Murdock. Moon Knight's another one, I believe. Gravity. Most of the New Warriors, believe it or not. Most of the remaining mutants do. Quasar. Living Lightning, I believe. And the list goes on. It's just that a lot of the BIG names have revealed their identities (and Iron Man's revealed his about half a MILLION times, and yet STILL they pull that trick out every few years). And identities are a minor plot for Civil War (past the rights of citizens, the power of the government, and the good ol' fashioned super-hero brawl).

But it's nice to see SHIELD has captured the Trapster. He's a menace that's been free for far too long.

...wow, I didn't even realize my last five paragrpahs/statements started with "and" in that post.

Which brings up the Iron Man question! Yeah, when nobody knew Iron Man was Stark in Amazing Spidey, I was going "wtf, JMS, read your history". Then Front Line #1 came out to more "wtf"ing from me. Unless Wanda did something or Superboy's gone over to the MU now *shot*, it makes no sense that Tony revealing himself to the president and then public is a big deal when he's maskless at a meeting of the UN in Avengers [HASHTAG]#500[/HASHTAG].

(Why does Tony seem naked when we see things from his armored perspective? Part of his weird new tech powers from that arc in Iron Man?Off-topic, but I'm curious!)

Ugh, who likes Vulture better in his black-and-red costume?

Vulture has a black and red costume?

As for Iron Man, me and someone else have been wondering if he's even IN the armor anymore. Yeah, you see him in it every so often, but when he's DOING ANYTHING in the armor, he's always seen as if he's controlling it from farther away. And, as evidenced in Front Line and the New Avengers Annual, he's PERFECTLY capable of controlling his various armors without being in them. Frankly, Iron Man stopped making sense after Heroes Reborn.

Nah, there are a few holes in that. In New Avengers #7, he does the naked-in-a-black-room thing but he takes off the helment when he gets to the Illumanti meeting. In New Avengers #18, Collective rips off his armor (after a short mid-air fight!) and after he gets it back on, we see him in the black room but he didn't have any time to go anywhere else.

Besides, why would he be naked or at least shirtless? XD

Vulture wore a black-and-red costume in MK Spidey (Sensational Spidey now) #1-12. It's an excellent read, written by the Irishman himself!

Ok, wow...Thor's back. Knew it was coming eventually, but that was a bit of a shocker. Can't wait for #4.
