I've been attempting to track down a site that'll ship this book outside of Japan since its release, but have so far failed. Can someone please recommend to me, a reliable and reasonable, in terms of pricing, site from which I can import this book to Australia?

Thanks

Amazon.co.jp is the best option, they even have a button on the page that allows to you translate the page you are seeing into English. The books range for about 800 Yen (I am too lazy to translate that to Australian dollars) and the economy shipping is 1,500 yen while the express shipping is 3,000 yen. In other words, it's generally pretty cheap.

If it has an ISBN number, chances are, Amazon will be able to procure it and ship it to you.

As for Amazon Japan, keep in mind that the base shipping charge is large compared to the charge for each individual item, so you may wish to make a large order to save on shipping.

Though, as the case may be, if your package is just the right size and weight, you might get a shipping upgrade - I ordered two small (15cm × 10.5cm × 1.5cm approx.) books, paid for International Economy, and ended up having it sent by DHL Express and it arrived the next day. (Left Tokyo at 5PM Wednesday, arrived at my door at 2PM Thursday.) Overnight shipping for ¥1,600, a bargain, to be sure.

Also keep in mind that Amazon will only accept credit card payments for international buyers.

Well, not really. It just displays the most important things with English text (from Amazon.com).
