Oh, noes! It's Hana-chan's artwork! =)

OMG you have a Shikamaru icon! Much Shikamaru ♥ ♥ ♥. *Is obsessed with Shikamaru*

Your artwork is quite cute, by the way. :) I like the coloring on Gengar in particular (it's a cute Gengar! XD), and the Gaara picture is cool, too. That background must've taken forever to do. x.x I love how you placed Sandslash in the nifty background--it brings out his colors and just plain looks cool.

You could use some work on proportions and things, especially on the Ino-Shika-Chou picture, but at the same time I get the feeling that you're going to keep practicing and working on proportions and I don't need to tell you that. I don't know where I get that idea, but... ^^;; Gaara looks fairly good, proportions-wise.

Well, keep up the nice art! I'd like to see more. ^_^

Shikamaru > you. [/Shade]

Thanks. Proportions have never been my strong suit, but I'll improve on it eventually. I'm mainly trying to improve my skill in drawing humans (and, in my personal opinion, I've really improved over the past year), and hopefully, I'll be able to start a comic once I'm done planning it. =D

Anyways, I have more artwork..

Summer Hoppip (sans background): A random Hoppip from the Hana family. I'm actually quite fond of this one, though the initial drawing was rushed.

Unakami Hanako: A random sketch from a couple of weeks ago. I didn't draw the hands because they're a pain in the butt. I also made the legs too short, though I did a decent job on the overall pose.

Makioka Yobuko:: Another character of mine immortalized in a random sketch. This sketch was very, very rushed; I think it must've taken about three minutes at the most. The shirt says "Hold me - I'm a fermata," which was the slogan of a shirt that one of my best friends wanted badly.

Shikamaru > ALL

Hey, keep up the practice! Practice is always a good thing no matter what. :D

Ooo, I like the Hoppip! It's so cute! I like the bright colors you used and the nice, simple coloring style. Love the headband. :) This Hoppip seems to have a distinct personality.

I love the hatching on the Unakami Hanako picture, and the pose is awesome. The abdominal region could be a little longer, but otherwise it's a nice picture. It turned out cool and has a nice sense of motion going on in it.

The Makioka Yobuko picture needs a little more work... His head doesn't look bad, but he needs larger, more distinct shoulders (shoulder width should be about two heads across--less for kids), a shorter neck, and just some general messings with proportions. A human body should be about eight heads tall, with about half of that being the head/thorax, and half being the legs/feet. It was just a quick sketch, though, as you were saying, so don't worry about it. ^_^

Keep it up! Just keep working on it, and I know you'll continue getting better. Good luck! And keep posting here, too. I'll happily review whatever you put up, okay?
