I'm glad to see clearer screen shots and some clips of game play! haha

The fact that they're bringing in animated trainer sprites (and for all trainers, not just bosses), is similar to Crystal and Emerald which both had animated Pokemon sprites for the first time.

Only Crystal had animations for the first time. The animated trainer sprites are just an expansion of a feature introduced in Platinum.

The player character getting to speak is an actually new feature.

But Emerald brought them back and expanded on it with 'animated back sprites'.

Exactly, they expanded. None of this is similar to Crystal's case which actually innovated. Besides, Emerald brought back a feature that was deliberately deprived from RS, and even then, most animations could not compare to Crystal's being only two frames.

I love the Water gym !!! Really good done! Sad it will probably come early(1st or 2nd)!
there are a lot of interesting futures! Hopefully we get a new trailer later today on Smash!

FUUUUUUUUU- Pokemon Musical out, Movies in! Freaking called it, and I'm glad I was right. The game's gonna be boss so amazing, love the really updated battle screens. Watching it over again and...
-Nimbasa City seems to be where the rival and you meet those guys in black. They look to be a new plasma, but the emblem doesn't look to be the same, even from the side.
-That Pokemon Crown.....perhaps they finally gave us tournaments?
-Koffing neon sign in the poison gym, so that's confirmed.
-Cinccino in the forest, wonder what's that about.
-Slanted HP text, its like they want me to sell my soul to em.
-
Moving trainer sprites, the lords have answered my prayers.

cons:

-there is no Attacking or Damaging animation :(
-all the pokemon in the Trailer have the same animation an sprites as BW :((
-I still don't like the male trainer,he looks like a boy from a silly Japanese anime.(where are you sugimori !!? you should have designed the trainers !!)

pros:

-Trainers are now animated :)
-this might give evidence that R/S remakes will be for 3DS
-not sure if pokemon musical is out or not but it was really a ridicules addition to the games so they should remove it.

If you'r talking bout the actual attack or the hit explosion that usually is in the games then they likely have it on fast for the battle animations. As for the musicals, considering how the movies are gonna be everywhere in Unova apparently, it would be safe to assume they're out, even if the buildings still there.

It looks so nice!

Interesting that we get to be movie stars now. I didn't really like the musical, but acting pokemon could be entertaining.

I'm also very happy for full animated trainer sprites. And movies? Okay, musicals were disappointing but there is no way they can screw this up. Right?

Right?

well I don't clearly understand you,but all what I sad was that I was hoping to see pokemon animate while attacking and while getting hit, just like in pokemon conquest and MD.

See the part where Black Kyu and White Kyu attack Serperior.

I watched the trailer again, its part of B kyurem's animation, the same as BW no attack/hit animation.

although I like Yusuke Ohmura style very very much,I still prefer sugimori's style in humans.

Kind of a downer that the wild battle music is a remix of BW's. I mean, don't get me wrong, I think the BW music is pretty awesome, and it's still a step-up from what a Grey version would have provided. Just wanted something new, is all.

On the flipside, while it's a small detail, I'm glad that the trainers are finally animated. That is something I feel was long overdue, and it definitely helps the world feel more 'alive'. I wonder if they'll have separate animations for when they lose?

The animated trainer sprites are indeed a nice touch, and it's better that it's not limited to important trainers (like in Platinum).

I pity Serperior for taking the brunt that are Kyurem's attacks...

Thanks for reading.
