That's very cool. This has always been an (unfortunately low priority) ambition of mine, so it's awesome to see someone show such great progress.

I think the map looks great. Just checking: it looks like the black areas in the Americas are places that are still unknown? But over in Asia (mainly India), it indicates the Monsoon pattern, right?

Can I ask how you gathered the data you used? Unfortunately, I do not know of a way to be certain of a Vivillon's location short of catching and raising it yourself. People/games can "lie". (Not that I'm so pessimistic to assume they all or mainly do, but it's a definite problem.) So I have to wonder what chance there might be that some of your data has fallen afoul of such mistakes.

That said, I've been very slowly working on catching a Vivillon from each location on the American 3DS. I'm still a ways from even being half way done, but I can help more or less immediately with a small number of your incompletes I already have (after I try to wrap up something else), and the rest need only be a matter of time. I'll try to find some time in the near future to focus on the incompletes. (That said, I do still intend to catch the rest of the locations too, if only so I can vouch for as much of your data as I possibly can.)

Thanks and good luck to you mate.

Black is unknown
monsoon is dark blue/grey that gets confused as black

I have been messing around it, restarting my game many many times just to know all the vivillon data. i am confident to say that my data have a 1% margain of mistake which only can be commonly found in the borders between two different patterns (or 3).

good luck mate, would be great to see the rest of the area.
feel free to correct me on some of the places but theres a good pattern. if u loop around the country edges, tis VERY safe to assume the rest is the same.

Oh, so you have a European 3DS, and/or other 3DSs?

Yup, it struck me shortly afterwards that that might be the case. =P

yes I do own an European one and used to own NA one but had to sell for cash (regretful sale but really needed cash that time lol)
