So, over the last two years, I've been stumbling back into my relationship with Pokemon after not playing any since the original Red/Blue. Been loving it, despite the fact that my internet was previously not configured right to do anything online in the DS games, which I jumped into with HeartGold and Black 2. Sold those after I beat them because I don't really know anyone else who plays, and now I'm back at it with Omega Ruby.

Favorite Pokemon by a longshot is, for some reason, good ol' Vileplume.

I really liked some of the DS games myself.

Sorry you dont know anyone IRL that plays, this forum is a great place to meet people who play Pokemon. I hope you enjoy it here and have a great time :) If you need any help, feel free to ask a staff member.
 
Welcome! I know how it is not really having anyone to play with. It sucks. Online has made my love for the series stronger than it already was (and that is saying a lot).
