I'm just wondering what the title of the piece was called that was played when Shigeru lost his battle in the Pokémon leauge? As in, during the battle that he lost in.

It was also played when Satoshi-tachi was on the blimp that crashed on their way to Uchikido's island.

Just to be clear, I believe you're referring to the time when Gary (Shigeru) lost in the Kanto League, and not when he lost to Ash (Satoshi) in Johto. That track is called Taiketsu! Hon Mono Tai Copy Pokemon (Real Vs Copy Pokemon). It is Track #16 on the Japanese first movie soundtrack.
