Old collection of original 151 Pokemon Cards - Make a fair offer?

Hey there,

So, I'll be honest - I only signed up here to see if someone might be interested in my old collection of Pokemon Cards. I collected them back in the day when the game first came out, and a bit after that.

I have a binder full of the original 151 pokemon cards, excluding Riachu.... I have no idea where that holo went :< it actually makes me pretty sad that I don't know...

The binder contains some first editions, promo, and 49 holo cards in english as well as 2 Japanese holo. I also have a box of deck building cards (trainer cards, extra pokemon, and engery cards)

Honestly, I don't play Pokemon anymore and the number of them kinda got outta control for me to collect, so I wanted to offer up my cards to someone who will appreciate them. Please make me a fair offer? I'm not entirely sure what they are worth today, but I remember my mother buying holos for me for about $4-$5 back then.

I was actually directed here by someone on the tamatalk forums. I collect tamagotchi and other vertual pets, So if you have like a tamagotchi or a Digimon (the old original ones) I might consider a partial trade with some money for shipping?

Yes, I believe they are wizards of the coast cards. They play like a simplified version of Magic the Gathering.

I probably won't let them go for less than about $40 +shipping, but to be honest, I haven't been into Pokemon cards in so long that I don't really know what the reasonable price is for them to a collector??? That's why I'm asking here since I would hope someone might know and make a fair offer...

I'm not sure what all of the different sets are - I collected these back in 1999 and 2000 - so it's been a while for me. Some are easy like the Team Rocket ones, but others I don't remember the actual name of them. Also my husband says the whole thing is worth more than $40... Honestly I have no idea since I have been outta the loop for nearly 10 years. If anyone could appraise the whole bunch that would be awesome. I mean - I'm selling the binder that has basically all 151 of the original Pokemon (minus raichu seeing as I have no idea where that holo went...).

Okay, so I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner - I have got a killer head ache that just will not go away (started lastnight...ugh)

So the cards you are looking for in particular I have taken some pics of for you:

They are actually on top of the binder they are all in lol

And I will show you the absolute worst condition card I have. It was my friends - she used to use it in her deck and she never really took great care of her cards so I traded her for it LOL. But this is the worst card I have - all the others are in condition like the three above.

If I hadn't gotten it from her it might have just turned to dust by now in her possession LOL. Let me know if you are still interested in purchasing the cards

Thank you for the pictures. I was going to check to see if the charizard and venusaur were from the base set which they are. The clefairy is from base 2, it has the symbol at the bottom right corner of the picture. The clefairy card even in near mint condition is only a couple of dollars, so I can get it another time.

Some of my cards I have gotten from sisters when they decided they were finished with collecting the cards altogether. So, I have a couple of cards similar to the Zapdos, either small creases or scratches on the cards (only 3-4 like this). If the Zapdos is the only card in that condition, I am still interested in purchasing them.

What price do you think is fair? I know I posted $40-$50, but I do not want to offer too little either. I want to make sure both of us get a fair deal.

Well - honestly I would like $50. I am including the binder full of cards as well as a separate box with more cards - dups and deck building cards. ( also in the binder is some other cards - non playing pokemon cards and some old digimon cards from about 2000 as well...) I know there are rares and things in the box, not sure what they are by name, but I do know that there some in there.

I don't know about shipping costs - You're in America I assume... My husband can do shipping from his job so I could have him bring the whole thing in for a quote if requested though,... for that I would need an address I'm pretty sure.... >_>

So if that works for you - let me know and if you wanted to finish stuff up through PMs we could do that.

Okie dokie - so my husband took it with him today and got a quote for shipping which is $15. I know it seems a lot, but really it's a good chunk of cards. Shipping paper and the like always ends up being more to ship cause it's on the heavy side. So If you wanna paypal me the total I can get it shipped out to you tomorrow.
