Old Fan/ New Member/a few questions

Hello,

I played pokemon from red and blue(when I was five) right through diamond and pearl. I just heard about the new game and wanted to ask a few questions.

1. What do you think the biggest changes have been in the series and has anything fundamental changed? Particularly something that would put off fans of the everything up to diamond.

2. Is there going to be a whole new set of pokemon in X and Y or just 100 new ones?

3. Is there a version of pokemon thats considered the best? For instance I thought the Hoenn region offered the most.

4. Is black and white or black and white 2 worth getting and playing?
