You must get a lot of me, but I'll introduce myself anyways.
I've played Pokemon since it was introduced in North America, having memories of both the games' debut on the Game Boy and the anime's debut on YTV (Canada's premier youth channel). From that point, my fandom of the franchise grew corresponding to my own growth.
I've been a part of a number of other Pokemon communities in the past with some experience in forum moderation. I will be participating here with my usual forum self, but if you find me breaking any rules, do feel free to inform me.
While currently seeking undergraduate study at the University of Toronto, I still partake in competitive Pokemon battles. I have little knowledge of the franchise outside of the metagaming world, but can relate to the enthusiasm today's fans hold for the universe of Pokemon.
Outside of Pokemon, I have a strong interest in science, technology, and music.
I look forward to interacting within this forum and hope to contribute to the community here.
