I got bored so I decided to translate the dex controls, so that you can search and organize as you'd like.

First, note that when you press START, the second option will take you to the top of the Pokedex, and the third will take you to the bottom.

Once you're back to the main screen, press SELECT. You'll have a screen with three TABS across the top. They appear like this:

If you have any questions, let me know and I will address them.

Hopefully this will cut down on the amount of questions. If I left out Pokemon types in an evolution, that means it stays the same.

Please note, that this list only contains new Pokemon. If you want to quickly search for a Pokemon, press 'Control + F', then type in its element or name.

Also note that I put all numbers on the left for easy viewing. No need to have too many numbers floating around, so I just pushed them all to the left.

Well, Kuno convinced me that it would be a good idea to translate the menu controls. So, these are the menu controls once you have gotten your PokéNavi from Kanazumi City.

[Pokédex]

Use the controls on my other post. When you go into an entry, there are four options at the top.

{Location} {Cry} {Print} {Cancel}

[Pokémon]
[Items]
[PokéNavi]

{Map}
{Contest Stats}

--> {By Pokémon}
--> {By Stat}
--> {Cancel}

{Trainer Eye}
{Hall of Fame}
{Cancel}

[Trainer Card]
[Save]
[Options]

--> {Text Speed} <Slow> <Medium> <Fast>
--> {Battle Effects} <On> <Off>
--> {Battle's RUURU} <irekae> <kachimeki> (?)
--> {Sound} <Mono> <Stereo>
--> {Buttons' Mode} <Normal> <LR> <L = A>

(NOTE: What this above function does is set controls for the L and R buttons. Choosing the <LR> function sets it so that the L/R Buttons move Left and Right in Menu screens. Choosing the <L = A> Button makes the L Button perform the same functions as the A, so you can play the game with just your left hand.)

--> {Window Border}
--> {Exit}

[Exit]

If you need any more assistance with this, just leave a reply.

what are all of the charicteristics, and what do they do? (sorry, I havn't been around for a while)

IMO a walkthrough would be in order for BMG, in addition to FAQs...

However there is a tendency for people to ignore linked pages and ask the same question over and over again, especially if the topic gets long.

I know enough about R/S to not really ask questions regarding the game itself, except for a few things.

Exactly where do you get Hinbasu? Believe me, I've fished all over the route my ingame pokedex gives me (I believe its route 119. I can't remember these things exactly) and I can't find it at all. Heaven knows how many hours I've fished... even Meowth's site doesn't state in his fishing location guide that it's there.

Has anybody caught Hinbasu and does anyone know of tendencies where they appear more?

Time to go and make a sig.

EDIT: Trip - the Battle RUURU thing is the battle settings. Look in GSC - there's something about Set and Switch. I think it depends how you want the turns to go? I'm not too sure about it. Congrats on being mod, by the way. I know you, but you don't know me... or at least, you think you don't...

Yup. Maybe I'll make one... I might talk to Mozz about that later.

I know. I'm going to try and get most of the info on the first page, and then we'll just continually answer the same questions. It's just easier that way.

Well, I haven't caught one yet, but I know someone who fished for hours and found ONE. I don't know if there's anything that makes it more common. Sorry. :(

I never quite understood exactly what that setting was for though... I assume the JP words are Battle Rules.

Thank you. Sorry, but I don't remember the SN you're using. Did you use another one?

Just because they're Slugma, that doesn't make the gym a piece of cake. Kootasu knows Overheat, a 140 base damage fire move. Plus, if you don't kill the Slugma first turn, they use Sunny Day, which INCREASES it's power, plus STAB. If Sunny Day is off, the base damage for this attack is 210! It also knows Body Slam.

sunstone times 2?

i was wondering if u can get a 2nd sunstone, i want to get the colosola for contest reasons, and also have a bellosom

Head hurts. Browsed forum, can't see if questions have been answered elsewhere. Purr.

1) Where can i find all the info? ie level up movelists, what the moves do, what the characteristics do, what Pokes learn what + thru TM's and breeding + tutor

2) Any pics or stuff you can give me about Powaruns different forms when he changes with the weather? thanx :)

BTW i saw the name "Solarock" used in this thread...has that been revealed or just speculation? The name is an obvious one of course but I always thought it should be its English name. Likewise the moon should be Lunarock..!

First, to Mr. Cardboard, I do not know. I haven't bothered with stone-evolved Pokémon yet at all.

Next, to Madman, BMG does not have its own guide at the moment. If you search the forum with the search box at the bottom right corner, Kuno posted some links in the forum somewhere. Maybe Kuno will post them here too in a while.

As for your other question, I'll look around. I'll see if I can find anyone who has them and get back to you.

Brett!

>Where can i find all the info? ie level up movelists, what the moves do, what the characteristics do, what Pokes learn what + thru TM's and breeding + tutor

There is no tutor in this. Flamethrower (TM 35), Ice Beam (TM 13) and Thunderbolt (TM 24) are all TMs. UPN has a decent Pokedex. It is currently being revamped so all Pokedex's after 75 don't look as great as the rest. It has most of the info you are looking for. ::sweatdrop::

>Any pics or stuff you can give me about Powaruns different forms when he changes with the weather? thanx :)

He changes in Sunny Day, Rain Dance and Hail. However Sandstorm has no effect on him. As for the picture.. The girl that has it only fights you once. ;_; I can try to get it for you, just give me some time.

I heard, or rather saw, on Meowth's Pokedex, about a Move Tutor that teaches one of 4 moves - Hard Plant, Psyco blast, Voltekka, etc... anyone has anything confirming this? Apparently those moves DO exist, but nobody apparently learns them, so maybe this is the way.

But nobody's found this move tutor (YET)... maybe its something to do with days or weeks or something, or maybe its in the Gamecube Game.

Solarrock - Romanization of Sorrarokku.
Runatoon - Lunatoon
Raiboruto - Raibolt
Abusoru - Absol??
