Hello, all.

Please excuse my absence. I have been (and will be until the end of the month) VERY busy. I have very little time to work with BMG, and even LESS to work with R/S, even though I have both.

Anyway, to make up for it, I am making a topic similar to the Trainer Diary from TPM, except this is for the English game. This will be a good place to share your team, your status, your problems, etc. HOWEVER, this is NOT the place to ask non-opinionated questions (where is the next gym?, etc.). Please ask those in the Simple Questions topic.

Well, I don't have my versions yet. I have to wait until after I get Zelda. But here's what I have on my Sapphire r*m. Team-wise that is.

Manectric: Thunderbolt/Crunch/Thunder Wave/Roar
Ludicolo (Lotad's final evo): Surf/Giga Drain/Fake Out/Uproar
Delcatty (I gave mine the nick Clawdia, after the resident catgirl in Fighting Foodons): Double-Edge, Faint Attack, Covet, Heal Bell
Blaziken (nicknamed Firestorm): Flamethrower, Sky Uppercut, Slash, Peck
Swellow: Wing Attack, Quick Attack, Endeavor, Aerial Ace
Aggron: Double-Edge, Iron Tail, Roar, Mud-Slap

I've caught Regirock, Registeel, Latias, Rayquaza (with a normal Pokeball), and Kyogre (with a normal Pokeball).
 
Currently on the way to Fallarbor Town, just used the Old Lady's Rest Stop. My beloved Taillow just evolved! :-D Current team:

I've been doing some switching out too...I have a level 22 Geodude and a L18 Shroomish (Shroola, it's a female) in my PC for example. :-D

I met it to the latter half of Ever Grande City. Tried battling the league. Made it up to Glacia and got my ass kicked by her Glaile. Restarted the game, which had been saved right before entering. I guess I've got raise my Pokies to Lv. 50! ^o^;
 
Just today, my newly evolved Swellow, which I've been feeding Pokeblocks to and is I think now at level 23, won the first contest I've entered so far, the Cool contest in Verdanturf. :cool: It kicked butt on the initial impressions (when they're just shown before the judges) and that's what won it for us. :cool:

I've had Sapphire since yesterday, and here's my team:

Hitori - Level 12 Male Torchic
Chou Chou - Level 13 Male Beautifly
Kotori - Level 12 Female Taillow
Kinogassa - Level 13 Female Shroomish
Kouta - Level 12 Male Whismur
Oko - Level 12 Female Zigzagoon

Status - Just won a Stone Badge, after my Shroomish beat the crap out of Roxanne. Nosepass wasn't easy to defeat, though, especially since my Shroomish was Level 11 when she fought Nosepass.

I'm too lazy to look up their attacks right now, or their characteristics. :sweatlol:
 
Swellow has also now won the Super-Ranked Cool Contest, and my Combusken also won the Normal-Ranked one. Swellow is now one of my favorite Flying types. :-) Currently attempting to beat Norman for badge #5. (Balance Badge? I think that's what it's called.)
 
I have just ordered both on import today, should arrive in a week hopefully, in time for my little brothers birthday :) Geodude, I share your love of the Taillow line, and even better is the fact that Swellow remains small when it evolves, smaller than Pidgetto infact! I don't like the huge birds.

I'm planning on starting with Treecko, although from the replies here so far it seems that Torchic is by far the most popular!

I just beat Tate & Liza for the Mind Badge in Mossdeep. It took a while because they kept using Hyper Potions, but I did it. All I needed was my L30 Manectric to paralyze both their Lunatone and Solrock, then I switched in my newly evolved L18 Mightyena (Hound). With Hound and my L28 Absol, I took down both of their L42 Psychics. :-D I just caught that Absol at L27 and it rocks. :-D

I'm currently training my team to take on the E4/Champion -- meaning beating trainers like mad that want rematches from the trainer's eye. Though right now no ones wants to fight me again.

I really like the berry plantings, picked the secret base with the berry patch right in front; as well as the contests. So far my team's won a combined total of eight ribbons.
