I...Just...Witnessed...Giratina's...BIRTH!

Who else loved the Arceus Event?
 
You know, I'm probably not the only one who entered this thread thinking you had a link to news of an actual Arceus distribution event.

That aside, I have no Pokemon moved over from Pt yet, not even my Umbreon and Lucario.
 
I too thought that you were talking about a HG/SS Arceus distribution event. I haven't done the in-game event yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
 
I'm with the OP, this is a pretty awesome sequence... it's also the only use of real-life imagery in a Pokemon game.

The only Arceus event I can see in the future is the Azure Flute, if Nintendo ever decides to do it. Won't be a Hg/Ss one.
 
Real life imagery? Like, a picture of something?

Okay yeah, that's surprisingly intense.

Too bad all of them are in Japanese, though.
 
yeah, there isn't much text though, Cynthia just does a bit of sucking up to Arceus :L, it's all about the visual :D.
 
It was pretty cool. I got Giratina. Was going to use him against Falkner, but felt that would be cheap.

The animation was pretty cool. Fun event.

Giratina is really the only logical choice. The other two (and their respective Orb hold items) can always be traded over from other games, but this event is the only way to legitimately obtain a Griseous Orb in Hg/Ss, since that item can't be held during a trade.
 
I got Palkia, seeing as I'm planning on start over i order to SR for a good Lugia and other legends anyway.
 
Man, I'm not sure I'd be able to play through an entire game again just for soft-resetting, heh.
 
I got Palkia! It's my \2nd\ favorite legendary.
I would've gotten Giratina but I prefer it's Altered form over it's origin.

But yeah, the event was really cool. I also liked the real-life images.
 
I did this event today, and I liked it. But I didn't know those special moves that once were on Bulbapedia were a hoax. I really wanted a Metal Burst Dialga. Since there was nothing really special in any of them, I picked Giratina just to get Griseous Orb.

E: Ah, right. Not a hoax. They were just incorrectly said to be learned at Lv. 1, but that's not true. :p
