Yes, some of us have been complaining that dialers and projectile users, alongside SNK Bosses (fighting or otherwise), have been considered to be "cheap".

In PvP scenarios, playing as Cable in MVC2 or Eddy in Tekken will dismiss you of being just that.

Are there any other scenarios similar to this (fighting or otherwise)? Feel free to share them.

Edge guarding in any Smash game is considered a serious no no where I come from.

Staying in one advantageous location, using the same weapon over and over, or exploiting a flaw in the game engine is considered cheap in Halo.

That's all I can think of in the games I play.

In Soul Calibur II for the GCN (Gamecube), using Link is considered cheap, and I agree. He is both fast and powerful, plus one of his attacks deals a heck of a lot of damage, and the other person doesn't stand a chance because they're airborn the entire time. Not only that, but he can also use bombs, arrows, and a boomerang. He's extremely cheap in PvP.

That reminds me of camping and AWP-whoring in Counter-Strike. XD

Also, pulling off infinite combos on a human character in a casual game will only get you some haterade.

hehehe, CS camping! Also, I'm not a hardcore player, but I feel that Iron man is the cheapest character. If you get good, you can just keep batting players away and then proton cannon them to death.

Most of the time though, people who call other characters cheap only do so because they can't figure a way out of it.

Now that I think about it... edge guarding isn't that bad... (Especially in Melee and Brawl, there is a lot added to counter it) Meteor Smashing a comeback is though, lol.

I was not popular at all after my 23-kill rampage on Halo3 online. It was their fault for inviting me into a custom game that had a Hornet on Valhalla. I got MVP but no-one (save for the guy on my team who was riding wingman) thought I deserved it.

"You should've put in a Missile Pod then shouldn't you?"

Hah. I was competing in a Ragnarok Online PVP Event. Basically 500+ players in a single room, last one standing wins some very rare and exclusive stuff.

I was on my Assasin X, I cloaked and ran away from all the Ruwacher's. When the dust settled and there were about 20 people left, they were all bashing the crap out of each other in the middle (Lord Knight's/Paladins, just a heap of meelee'rs), I walked to the center, uncloaked and let of heaps of Meteor Assault's (Or whatever they were called, haven't played in ages), and killed everybody. Lol.
