Um, I'm guilty. I didn't get it for years. And I didn't figure out the Johto pattern till I came here.

Yeah, I was expecting lulz.

I KNEW they were all colors, but I just didn't pick up on Pallet for almost three years.

isn't Johto different trees, or something? because the only two towns i remember from Johto are New Bark Town and Ecruteak, and those are two types of trees/wood.

LOL
Yeah, it took me a while to figure this out too. Though there's not a yellow...

^^Ditto. I've been taking classes for a while now. (Plus like hundreds of books, considering I live on the border of Mexico)

Its very good to know I have at least one thing in common with Special's Lorelei, who got it first try also. =DDD

Whoa, lol!

But no worries, man. Not everybody goes around trying to figure out what the names are based on. I realized it the first time through, though.

Pokemon Special=Win.

i got that the first time i saw it, considering i know quite a bit of Spanish...

I didn't know any Spanish, but I knew who Yellow was. So I figured it out.

Granted... I think she says her English name in the next bubble so that might not have been my deduction skills.

i didn't realize it at first (youngin'), but afterward i thought it was kind of obvious. D: especially because of cerulean, since i used that color of crayon all the time.

i just noticed the pallet thing, though! i had been thinking like, pellets. i'm more familiar with spelling it palette.

After Viridian city, Indigo plateau and Lavender town I figured it out but I didn't know what towns were what colors though. It's just like how each professor's last name is a type of tree or the legendary birds or numbered (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres.)

Actually

Viridian- Viridian (A Light-Dark shade of Green)
Pewter- Some Coal (It's Gray)
Lavender- Lavender (A lighter Purple)
Celedon- Chinese Pots which are turquoise colored
Cerulean- Cerulean (Light-Dark shade of Blue)
Vermellion- Vermillion (A lighter Orange)
Indigo Platuea- Indigo
Fuchsia- Fuchsia (A dark Pink colour, also a Plant)
Saffron- Saffron (A lighter yellow)

So, Not all of them are based of colors.

^ Without adjectives is screaming colors

Celadon the color did originate from the pots, but now is more commonly know as a shade of green or turquoise.
