Once again they Butchered the Starters!

Well just having seen the new evolutions of the starters on CoroCoro for September it's obvious that they are clearly lost for designs of the starters, Gen 1 had it perfect, Gen 2 was really good, Meganium was a bit iffy but not too bad, Gen 3 continued the goodness with adding Swampert, Sceptile and fan fave Blaziken, Gen 4 really dropped the ball with Empoleon and Infernape, Torterra was OK, Gen 5 was another let down with Emboar and Serperior.

Gen 6 is by far the ugliest, if I do play these games then I'm gonna do what I've never done before and leave the starter in the box at home. I mean you get Kermit the Frog's ugly older brother, SeedZilla and the worst fan made cosplay for a Pokemon ever.

Seriously Nintendo you gave us three generations of gold followed by 2 of not so goodness but this, this is just lazy.

Meh, to each their own really... but its only gonna get harder for them to make original and still likeable starters every new generation. I don't think they have done too bad thus far though.

Have you actually played the game to decide it? Just because you don't like it doesn't it is butchered at all. Also you may warm up to their designs in the future.
