================
In a little house in Pallet, a little girl came down the stairs, rubbing her eyes. "Good moring, Gabby dear!" Her mother sang out cheerfully. "Morning, Mama!" Gabby replied. A door slamed. "There's my birthday girl! Hey, seven year-old!" Her dad exclamed, scooping her up. "Daddy!" Gabby squealed as he tickled her.

Gabby's mother rolled her eyes. "Ash, put Gab down before you drop her." As he obliged, Ash made a face. "My hands slip just one little time, and you'll never let my live it down, will ya, Misty?" Misty smiled "Nope." Gabby laughed.

Ash gave her a Look. "Gabriella Daisy Ketchum, do not laugh at me." But he was teasing. Misty and Gabby laughed even more. Ash grabbed at them, and they lept away, laughing.

"Wait, don't we do this every day?" Gabby asked. "Yes!" Her parents replied. Just then, Pikachu wandered in. "Hi Pika!" Gabby said happily. Pikachu got up on the table and plopped a party hat on her head. Giggling, Gabby scooped him up.

Ash scooped Gabby up again, while she had Pikachu and Misty laughed again. "Happy birthday, Gabby." Ash and Misty said together, as they flopped down on their bed, after taking her upsatirs.

"Pika pika, Piki!"

Gabby couldn't stop laughing.

Ehhhh... it's a little short. Is it supposed to be a one-shot?

I hope not. I like the idea of Misty and Ash having a daughter, but couldn't Pikachu be like a dying dog or something? I mean, it's an animal. Or a Pokemon. Whatever.

I hope Brock appears as a weird uncle of some sorts. Now that would be awesome. Pretty interesting. I'd like to see where it goes soon.

I thought this would be a 1-shot, but I'll keep going. Me no own.
=================

About 5 weeks later, Gabby woke before her parents when she heard a knock on the door. She got up and awnsered it. "Uncle Brock!!" She squealed, seeing her godfather. "Happy late birthday, Yo Gabba Gabba." He replied. Gabby grinned.

"So what'd ya bring me?" Brock had a part-time job at a pawn/antique shop, and it seemed that his mission in life was to spoil his best friends' daughter beyond belief. Smiling, Brock handed the bubble gum-haired girl a little box.

Eagerly, she tore it open, and squealed with delight. "A Poke Ball!! Thank you, Uncle Brock!!" They hugged. Apperntly, the noise woke Ash and Misty. "Wuzzagonon?" Missty drawled groggily.

"Uncle Brock gave me a Pokemon, Mama!!" Gabby exclaimed, showing the Poke Ball to them. "What Pokemon is it, Brocko?" Ash asked, more awake now. Brock smiled. "Show 'em, Gabs."

Gabby pushed the button on the Poke Ball. There was a flash of light, and a Chikorita appeared. "Her name is Syntha." Brock told Gabby as she hugged the Grass-Type. "I got her from another Breeder."

Gabby picked up her Pokemon, and hugged Brock again. "Alright, back to bed, little missy." Misty said in a motherly way. Gabby rolled her eyes, but went.

~The next morning~

As Misty made breakfast, Gabby sat under the table and played with Syntha. "Daddy, can Uncle Brock come over for breakfast?" She asked when her father came in. "Sure, hon." Ash replied, but he sounded distracted.

"Ash?" Misty asked. "What's wrong?" Ash sighed. "It's Pikachu. I think somethin's wrong with 'im. I'll take him to Gary's later." Gabby was worried. Pikachu had never not been around, and she didn't like the possibility that he might.

"Well, on a lighter topic; guess what, Gabby?" Misty said wth forced cheerfulness. Gabby made a questioning noise. Her parents smiled. "You're going to have a little sibling in a few months." Ash told her.

Gabby passed out.

We all knew this was coming sooner or later, so let's roll with it. I like this man's style, it's pleasantly cheery, but I can feel things will not turn out as sunshine and rainbows.

Were the words in bold refering to me? Because I can assure you I am not a man. :-/

Oops. By man, I meant as in 'I like your style of writing, dude'.

And I do. You're succinct, and you paint a great mental picutre with what little you give, and you leave a good cliffhanger ending to every chapter.
