It's been 200 years since Luffy and Blackbeard duked it out at Raftel. One Piece was reportedly destroyed during the fight. Now, everyone that was in that fateful battle has been dead for ages. The Navy has recovered from the battle, and the political balance in the Blues is roughly back to the level seen before the Second Whitebeard War.
However, recently, maps have been appearing. They tell of the locations of the eight pieces of One Piece, a weapon that will either bring endless ruin, or the dawn of a new golden age.
A new pirate crew has formed on Mirrorball Island, vowing to find the Pieces of Eight. Only time will tell if they will succeed, but either way, a new age is beginning.
Rules:
-No godmodding. All characters should be roughly equal as far as strength.
-Keep romance PG-13.
-No tennising.
-It's one piece. So weirder is better.
-Have fun!
Name: What's your character's name?
Age: How old is your character?
Race: Human, fishman, giant, what's your character?
Gender: Male, female, transvestite, whatever.
Appearance: What does your character look like? Seeing as it's One Piece, go crazy here.
History: No length requirement. You can even omit this section if you want to do it later. I would like you to PM me if you intend to reveal something like your character is Ivankov and Crocodile's illegitimate grandson, though.
Abilities: What can your character do in a fight? Do they have Devil Fruit powers? Or are they a swordsman? Or do they know Okama Kenpo? if your choose a Devil Fruit, just don't pick one that's insanely powerful. Also, Logia users can only turn parts of their body into their element for now, seeing as they're just starting.
Skills: Different from abilities. This is stuff they do mostly outside of combat, such as navigating or cooking.

Name: Vallis Menard
Age: 20
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: Vallis wants to look cool for his "fans." As such, he always wears a shirt that exposes lots of his chest. He also, for reasons known only to him, wears red bell-bottoms. For shoes, he wears a pair of white dress shoes. His hair is styled in a blue afro. Unfortunately for him, this is not a stylistic choice. It simply grows that way. He's fairly tall, at 6'4, but very skinny. Over his green eyes, he always wears a pair of circular pink sunglasses.
History: Vallis was born and raised on Mirrorball Island. His parents owned a restaurant there, and every night, he got to watch various bands play. While he worked in the kitchen, his aspiration was to become a great singer. Unfortunately, his parents knew he was tone deaf, and told him so many, many, times. He thought he would never become a singer, until he found a map, carelessly dropped on the floor by one of the restaurant's customers. He decided he would become a pirate, and sail the seas, with nobody to yell at him for singing at 3 in the morning!
Abilities: Vallis once met a man who was practicing Okama Kenpo. Vallis mistook it for a sort of dance, and after much begging and making a fool of himself, he was taught it. Now he fights with a graceful style much like ballet, and can perform some impressive acrobatic feats.
Skills: Vallis is not a skilled sing, even if he wishes he was. But what he is good with is cooking. All the time he spent working in his parent's restaurant has really paid off.
