I think we need a thread for this awesome Manga/Anime.

So, first line of questions...whose everyone's favorite member?

For me it's definately Franky. When I first saw him I was like "Eh? Popeye and Ace Ventura had a baby!", but I've really grown to like him...any man who wears speedos is a cool dude in my book
 
Without a doubt, Usopp.

He´s my favourite character ever since he joined the crew. His tearful scene when franky told him that the Going Merry can´t be repaired anymore...his battle with Ruffy, his wacky antics, his style, his "fuck you bishie-loving fangirls"-appearance, his voice, his character in general...
He IS one of the weakest strawhats, but grew so much during the series that it doesn´t matter at ALL.
He reminds me of the Kuririn of One Piece ^^

But to be honest, it wasn´t THAT easy to pick one, because everybody of the crew is just awesome for some reasons. I can´t judge franky because the dub stopped at the end of water 7 ( I don´t know if I should watch enies lobby before the new episodes arrive here...if ever...:( ), but he was awesome as well...
 
Yeah, Usopp is pretty neat. Especially the latest Perona battle.

I´ve only read about this fight, but it sounds awesome nevertheless.

On Brooks case...is it realistic that he may join the crew? Because he is too cool and creative not to join. I´m crossing my fingers ^^

I wonder how his anime voice will sound...gotta love "ffffrrrAAAAnkeeeeeey!"
 
Usopp has had a lot of Character Development as of late... maybe even more than anybody else. It's hard not to like him. However I still really like Robin... and Franky's just funny and cool.

The problem with OP is making likable characters is what the series is about, so I really love everybody from Luffy and his goofiness plus cool gear shifting, Zoro with his inconsistent coolness, Chopper being an unconventional cute mascot, Nami being so clever, or Sanji never getting any love. (Lol, his wanted poster is still funny, well both his and Chopper's)

The only person I don't really care about right now is Broke, but I'm sure that can change after they help him out... That is if he stays, a part of him reminds me of Vivi. (I was sad to see her go too)

I think an easier poll would be villains, because then I can say Lucci and Kaku
 
Out of CP9, ooh, I LOVED Fukurou. He was so cute, chapapa. Kumadori was hillarious too with his whole Kabuki act, and Jyabura's wolf form was awesome.

As for other villains, I really like the designs of the Thriller Bark villains, like Absalom, Moria, Perona, Hogback, and alot of the zombies.
 
I LOVE ONE PIECE!!! Its hard to choose a favorite character (I voted Luffy :D) because they are all great!! Nami (ah, my love!!) character development is great, Zoro is just too cool, Sanji, man I wish I could do those kicks like him (and cook like that as well!!), Usopp & Chopper are hilarious, cool, and have been developed well, Franky's character is freaking awesome (speedos), and Robin (ah, gorgeous Robin!!) has a great goal, in discovering the Truth!!

This truly is a great series!! I always look forward to all the latest Chapters!! Especially the cover Mini-Arcs!! That is all I have to say at the moment!! One Piece for the win!!
 
I love One Piece but Ive only seen the episode when Franky is wondering if he should join straw hats crue, but that isn't the point who is brooke?
 
Wait a few more episodes and you'll find out. Basically he's going to be introduced in the Anime this upcoming season.

I´m not up to date with the recent japanese episodes, but isn´t there another filler arc planned after the water 7 saga?
 
Hm? I'm not sure. I watch the episodes when they come on but I don't look past the episode preview. If they are going to ad a filler to give some space between that and the comic, that makes sense, but it's in the next arc if they fallow the manga. (Right after the Ace fight)

Hm... I wonder what they'd do for fillers... it seems they've already been sprinkling them through this arc with the recaps and what if stories. I guess they can stretch-out the part with Ace like they are doing now with Frankie joining, but they already put a book's space in between them from just that.

A skeleton with an Afro. That's all you need to know.

Personally, my favourite character changes constantly. It was Zolo for a long time, then Sanji... then Brooke. Not really sure right now.
 
Yes, I agree, Brooke should join!! I really like him!! (I mean, who doesn't love a skeleton with an Afro?)
 
Perona Should Join. If she joins shes shoot right ot the top of my fave char from the Straw Hats. I know it donest look like she will be joing Cuz Kuma Mad her vanish but still. The thought of it makes me so happy. : ) : )
 
Sanji is my fave character, every time i see his eyes turn into hearts because he sees some random girl I crack up, plus the way he mistreats all the male members of the crew compared to how he treats the female members is really funny.
 
My favorite would have to be Straw Hat Luffy for being so freaking hilarious. After that it would probably be Sanji and Usopp.
