...is Fire/Dragon.
Seriously, ever since Red and Blue, I've been annoyed that there is no Fire/Dragon type, and have been praying for one ever since. As new generations of Pokémon would be introduced over the years, I would repeatedly say to myself, "Hmmm, maybe finally there will be a Fire/Dragon Pokémon." But I would then be disappointed to see the absence of a Fire/Dragon-type.
Why do I care about this so much? Well, first of all, don't dragons breathe fire? When I think of dragons, that's one of the first things that I think of -- breathing fire. So pairing up Dragon with Fire would make a lot of sense.
Plus, Fire is my favorite type, because a lot of Fire-type Pokémon just look so awesome, something that I have felt ever since the minute that I picked Charmander in Red. A Fire/Dragon Pokémon would be even more awesome, because it would look so powerful.
Besides, Fire and Dragon go fairly well together. Dragon cancels out the Water weakness, which would make this the only Fire-type that is not weak to Water. And Fire cancels out Dragon's biggest weakness, Ice. That would leave it with being weak to Rock, Ground, and Dragon, the latter of which is somewhat rare anyway. And since having Levitate wouldn't be too, uh, Farfetch'd for a dragon with wings, that would eliminate the Ground weakness too.
Another thing is that in the past two generations, there have been so few new Fire-types. Gen III had very few new ones (only 6, counting the starters), and I remember back then that this annoyed me a lot, and that I was hoping that Gen IV would fix this problem. But it was even worse in Gen IV, with even less new Fire-types (only 5, counting the starters!!!). Hell, in D/P, Flint, who was supposed to specialize in Fire-types, only had 2 Fire-types out of his 5 Pokémon, which was an absolute joke. (Thankfully they rectified that in Platinum...)
So, in Gen V, if a Fire/Dragon Pokémon were introduced, this would somewhat make up for Game Freak's mistake of introducing so few Fire-types in the last two generations. Of course, introducing more than 5 would really help, but seeing a Fire/Dragon one would make me happy.
Finally, this would actually be cool as a legendary, with maybe a complimentary Ice/Dragon (another type that hasn't yet been introduced and would be a nice combo as well) legendary to accompany the Fire/Dragon. Of course, all of this is just speculation, but wouldn't it be totally awesome if this were true?
