I realize this question has likely been asked before, but I was unable to locate it. I've been an avid player of the card game for a while, until about two years ago when all the players in the area seemed to disappear. I'd really like to start again, but online seems to be the only way. Can anyone direct me to a place where such is possible?

Ah, thank you very much! I'll have to try this out now....

Blast, what's this runtime error thing? is it common?

If you did "Create a Shortcut," try accessing the Apprentice program from the Programs File folder itself instead of the shortcut.

I have Java installed (used it not long ago) and I'm running Windows XP.

And I didn't do that. Rather I just pulled the program from the folder to the desktop....

Delete all of your Apprentice-related files (excluding your Deck folder if you have saved any decks), download Apprentice from my Apprentice page, then follow the instructions on how to install it. Then tell us if you have any problems. :)

((Curses in an annoyed fashion.)) I'm still getting the same error.
