CG is the bane of my existence, so I'm going back to good old-fashioned pencils. Not even colored this time, grey pencils.

I'm so happy Gary gets to play a bigger part in my fic than I'd expected. He really adds a lot. Lance is #1 Antagonist who won't come into play until much later. He and Gary have too much in common.

That's Pokémon Adventures/Special Lance, not pink-haired anime Lance.

Me likes the way you used the pencil to give texture and shading to the drawing. I think Dratini's mouth is out of the official proportion, but its lovely eyes make up for that. =D You made Lance's nose very big, but I like his determined expression. I also love Gary's expression and his pose. Overall, a pretty good piece of art.

I concur on the nose, but that seems to be your style anyway. I love how distant Gary looks...

Overall, very clean and nicely done. Great for a pencil draw. The bead on Dratini's forehead is too high up, IMO.

Good shading, quite manga in style. Proportions are a bit off on Gary's leg length. Needs to be a bit longer. Lance's nose sticks out a bit. Ears are tall enough... I'm going to stop. Generally your proportions need some slight tweaking. The composition is great, and it's always nice to see a pencil shaded drawing. Keep up the good work.

my only real comment's the nose thing. But it's not really that major. I do wish I could draw people as well as you ^^; GOOOO PENCILS!! WOOT!!! I love seeing pencil drawings! this is shaded so nicely. dratini's eyes are uber kawaii. could i suggest something? nothing major really, it's just I noticed maybe the hair would look cool in looser strokes or something... but hey I really dont know what im talking about O.O;

^^;; I... I don't see it. I guess because profiles have always given my trouble, and I'm in "breaking-out-of-anime-style" phase at the moment.
