Music Opening: Alola (version 2)

Interesting the amount of major spoilers we got:

Like Ash getting both the Z-Power Ring (known from promotional art only iirc), as well as Pikashium-Z, Type: Null evolving, Z-powered form Lillie (spoiled earlier by merchandise, though)

Despite that we still didn't get any updates on new Pokémon nor evolutions on anyone's team which makes me wonder what's the intent in keeping that secret over all the spoilers I mentioned before (to be fair, the Pokémon anime does this all the time, but why?).
 
This opening changed a lot here! We got Z-Powered Lillie, though still no Power Z-Ring for her, their Pokemon being added or those that evolved, but the shot of Team Rocket remains the same. Type: Null evolving which is good, Lana's got her Z-ring added in some shots where you can actually see it, Ash's getting Powered Z-Ring! All is great!
 
Personally I would've loved to see Mareanie here; it was the only Pokemon in the main cast not in the OP. That aside, I loved how they add Lillie's Vulpix to the OP, that bothered me for the longest time.
 
And Raichu. But the question is, why are those two there? They still seem random.
 
Happy for Lillie's change in look, should mean some character development taking place (figuring out why she cannot touch Pokemon maybe). Pikachu new Z-Move is the one I've been waiting to see also so that's got me excited.

That won't appeared until they head to Ula Ula. Which is the next special class, they heading and the possibility of Professor Kukui establishing the league at the top of the Mount Lanakila. Before, he can do that. Ash & Lillie going to clear the space there first. Possibility of challenging a totem that never seen in game only anime exclusive. Presumably to be Crabominable with it ally (Alolan Sandslash & Vanilluxe). Key to victory will be Snowy evolve to Alolan Ninetales and learn Dazzling Gleam knock it down in finish move. Then, it will be the best and overkill episode since we seen in this series so far.

There sure are quite a few spoilers, which makes me think that Sun & Moon won't have a long run. Z-Powered Lillie appears in the last 1/4th of the game, while here she is already being showcased in Episode 44. By Episode 88, the whole Aether plot may have already concluded.
 
Interesting that there's no Team Skull. Are they not getting involved in a significant way yet or were they just left out of the opening?
