Toxic Orb or Flame Orb on Heracross, maybe..?
Or just switch him into to status moves..

toxic orb is probally preferable to flame orb on hera as the BRN will cut hera's attack, no?

No. The Guts ability negates the Attack drop from the Burn and replaces it with the Attack boost that Guts provides.

A few changes I'd make:

- For Salamence, consider swapping Crunch for Fire Fang, that way you'll be able to punish Skarmory, Bronzong and Forretress.

- Burn Orb is a good item for Heracross, although Salac Berry is a viable option also.

- For Starmie, consider using Thunderbolt over Psychic - it will provide you with better coverage even though you lose the double STAB

- Consider Shadow Punch over Substitute on Dusknoir - you'll have an easier time against other Ghost-types that way, and Dusknoir doesn't really need Substitute anyway.

Isn't Fire Fang weak? It has only 65 BP, unless I don't have a clue as to how actual damage is calculated and is more dependant on the attack stat.

Burn Orb, I like this suggestion. Thanks

Hm I'm a little reluctant on switching psychic for bolt but I guess I'll try it and see how many I can kill with it

I use sub because I saw this Blissey using Sub/Softboiled/S Toss/T Wave so I modeled my Dusknoir around that, and I don't run into many ghost types in shoddy. Then again I only played 2 battles, lol

Still need a suggestion for the 6th slot unless that's against the rules

Fire Fang may not have much power, but with Crunch you get completely walled by Skarmory, and you do considerably less damage to Forretress and Bronzong, all of which are very common threats. Plus, Dragon, Ground and Fire provide perfect coverage. It's very much worth it.

I suggest Thunderbolt over Psychic because with Psychic you'll get walled by Empoleon as well as other Starmie, which will likely be packing a Thunderbolt attack to use against you. With Thunderbolt, you only get walled by Lanturn and Shedinja, both of which are not commonly used.

Subbing Blissey is an odd one, but keep in mind that Blissey has far, far more HP than Dusknoir does as well as a much more reliable recovery move, so it would be able to make use of this set a lot more effectively. Also, Ghost-types are usually quite common - Gengar and Dusknoir are very common, and Rotom's Appliance Formes are reasonably popular as well, as is Spiritomb. Having a moveset that can be walled by a Ghost is never a good idea.

As for the last team member, I personally believe that people shouldn't be choosing other people's team members for them. I don't know what your preferences are myself, so I can't really make that decision for you.

Thanks for the superb information once again. I guess I'll have to do some soul searching for my 6th gate

6th poke.....

2 of your pokes are weak to ice, so maybe some ice resist?
also nothing to drop stealth rox............. i lurve stealth rox

I was thinking the same, along the lines of Aggron or Tyranitar since they can do that job well and also happen to be some of my favorite pokemon

EDIT: See first post

Okay, firstly? Remember Tyranitar's ability: Sand Stream. Nothing else on your team benefits from the sand, and it'll hurt you. A lot. Especially with those damage-inducing items you've got on a lot of your pokemon.

Also, Tyranitar doesn't resist Ice, anyway. The types that Ice hits for not very effective damage are Fire, Water, Steel, and Ice. Rock may be super effective against Ice, but it does not resist it. You could try your initial alternative, Aggron -- being part steel type, it'll resist Ice, be a fairly strong physical wall, and set up Stealth Rock. Or there's also something like Bastiodon, who trades a much lower Attack stat (compared to Aggron's) for much better Special Defense and can serve to set up Stealth Rock as well as serve as a general annoyer.
