Opinions on the Conspiracy Theory

I don't know if you guys have heard of this, but there's a theory going around that Ash/Satoshi may be in a coma, and the series is his journey to get out of it. I don't know whether or not this is genius, or ridiculous, and I'd like some opinions. I don't have the link to the theory, but I assure you, it's very well written, and the writer obviously knows a few things about Pokemon.
