Is there a place or option where the list of members is ordered based on their post count? I think it would be interesting to see my rank among the other members (since there are a lot of members with 1000+ posts) and who reigns supreme in this category in general. Some of the forums have this option, but this one doesn't (as far as I can see), instead having only the arrangement of members by user name, join date and last visit.

If there isn't an option to do that, is there a good reason it is omitted?

I don't even see a reason why you should segregate users based on their post counts. You can have a really smart user with 10 posts or a really dumb one with 100000. It doesn't make a difference, its still a user. And no we don't have that option. I don't think the options present in vBulletin as a whole either

EDIT: Post number 1337

haha

It would be:

Social Links > Members List > Search Members > Advanced Search > Ascending > Post Count, but it is disabled.

Social Links > Members List > Search Members > Advanced Search > Ascending > Post Count, but it is disabled.

So... why? Is it harmful to have?

@badalcristiano: It's not for segregration, just for information.

How does knowing the top 5 posters help you in any way?
I was also talking in relation to what the op asked for. His reasoning doesn't make sense to me

No idea. I can't think of any reason why it would be disallowed. It should be noted that the advanced search includes searches for post count, join date, online time and various other things too, but none of which I can think of that would be disallowed.

Also, @badalcristiano, why is it a problem to not know? The OP wants to know out of curiousity by the way his post is worded. I'm pretty sure that if anyone is on this forum for the pure am of getting a high post count, they will likely die alone. In their basement.

I am almost certain that he wants that option for statistical options.

It's disabled because we don't want to encourage people to post just for the sake of upping their post count. By not being able to see who the top however many are, we make sure people don't feel they need to surpass them. We don't want post counts to become a contest.

I do wonder though who exactly has the most posts out of all the members on the forums?

Given his ranking on Serebii (he's like, second over there), I'm tempted to say Scott.

Well, Ryuutakeshi's only been around since 2009, while Gliscor's (or Scott) has been here five years, so I believe his post count average would be a bit lower due to that.

I can't believe two people posted more than I did in less than 2 years. Really scary.

I've been here since 2005, so its an accumulation of the last 5 years.
