I realise some people might be a bit young to be thinking of this just now but...what are your views on organ donation? Open to it, or in a "whats mine is mine" mindframe?

I'm an organ donor, I would donate blood too, but my piercings mean I have to wait, I'd like to donate bone marrow in the future, and also donate one of my kidneys while i'm still living - I feel if i'm healthy, i should give other people the chance to be too. So what are your views?

Yeah, I'm all for it. I donate blood when the opportunity presents itself, and I'm an organ donor on my drivers license. I think "Hey, if I die in a crash or something, I might as well give someone else a chance to keep living."

Why the hell not. If I die, i dont need my organs. Take them, i dont need them!

If I could give blood i would. and im afraid of needles.

i'm blood type O, so i'd just be a dick not to give blood.

and yeah, i'm gonna donate my organs. like DCM said, i've got no more use for them after my massive Oxycontin overdose in *checks* 3 years, 16 weeks, 5 days, and 16 minutes.

i've got a lot to do...

I know a few people that are in a "its mine! all mine!" mindframe, and its not that I would try to force someone into something like it, I just wish I could understand their line of thought.

I have it set so if I die my organs will go to those in need, I wish I could give blood but I can't. I lived in Europe during Mad cow and they won't let me =(

I'm not going to have any use for my organs when I'm dead, so yes, I'm an organ donor. Why let good parts go to waste?

As for blood, I have an immense fear of needles, but I've considered donating plasma before for the cash...

I guess the disease can lurk from what the doctors told me, but I've tried to get it overturned (taking blood tests of course) but so far nothing. So it stinks, I want to give blood to help those who need it.

I would but I'm too young and I would only do it if someone like desperately needed it.

you know, if you donate your body to science, when you die, they send your body to a lab where people do tests on it, and then whent ehyre finished (usually up to a year) they send your next of kin your ashes in an urn. hey, grave plots are expensive.

Read Stiff by Mary Roach if you want to know some of the more unusual things they do with cadavers donated to science. I'm an organ donor (says so on my driver's license).

i might, once I'm old enough. Just not a lung.

I am! I also agree with the I'm dead, so I don't have any need for them sentiment. I try and donate blood when I can, but I often have low iron levels so I keep getting denied.

I'm an organ donor, says so on my liscence. If I'm dead and there are still some viable organs left in me that could help someone else, then sure, why not? Take them.

As for giving blood, I haven't yet, but I plan to.

Haven't registered as a donor yet, but I've already made it perfectly clear to my family that if they are in the position, I authorise and encourage them to make that call.
