Origin of Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem

Well i think this is the right spot for this thread and i doubt there will be any threads similar to this one.

So i was having dinner one evening and i was imagining reshiram zekrom and kyurem to work together and use tri attack. then lightbulb! i thought that tri attack features fire ice and lighting, the same type as the legendary birds, moltres articuno and zapdos. so i was thinking that maybe the person who had the idea of them got the inspiration from the legendary birds.

simple speaking reshiram zekrom and kyurem was created based on moltres articuno and zapdos, so........discuss.....
 
eh, probably not. maybe they got the idea, not the origin. however the tri attack theory was pretty smart. i would never have thought of that :p
 
When legendaries are revealed and released, they are most often done in trios so I don't think that there's any reason to believe that Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem were based on the Birds.

Personally, I like the Tao trio explanation better.
