This is an original type story. I made new characters instead of the old ones.

Tis is rated PG, but may have PG-13 stuff.

This story is in the Orre region. It is like Colluseum and XD, but a little after XD001 was defeated and captured/purified.

Prologue: Shadow3

Kyle Heckler's Notepad Entry #1

One year has passed since the second Shadow Pokemon incident. More and more Pokemon have begun flourishing into the Orre region. More grass started to grow, more rain started to fall. Cipher's members have been jailed for suspicious behavior. The heroes Wes and Adam (or whatever you decided to name them, also they are not in the story) have gone to work challenging the other region's Gyms. All is peaceful in Orre. Until one night. There was a kidnapping. A young boy had been taken by an unknown force. The story was in the News and everyone had started to search. Weeks passed but he wasn't found and everyone eventually had given up the hopeless search.

On Citadark Isle, the dark clouds have returned, whirlpools have whipped up, thunder strikes constantly. People have reported seeing many eerie things. They even of claimed to see a ghost that looked like the kidnapped boy. No one would check it out because people have also seen what looked like a ghost of XD001.

Back in Gateon Port, boats filled with mysterious trainers are suddenly arriving. They carry Pokemon with an "Evil" feel. In battles, the Pokemon would be effective in battle. They claim to be the "F.P.A.S." (Federal Pokemon Agency of Superiority). The FPAS are constructing what appears to be Pokemon Gyms. "We are here to test the skills of Orre trainers. We have built Gyms to do so, and you will also get to show us your skill with the Colluseums. Anyone who beats a Gym leader or a Colluseum challenge will get a special offer to join the FPAS." they announced. A many good trainers have won. After taking up the offer to join, they were never the same again.

I am a 13 year old detective of Orre. I became a member due to my smarts, instinct and battling skills with my Turtwig. Turtwig and I have been together battling for a while and he is an invaluable partner. I graduated from the Pokemon Academy at age 5 at the top of my class with straight A's in all the advanced classes and a perfect record for behavior. I can usually do something from my gut instinct and it ends very good. The Orre Detective Agency or, O.D.A., for short decided to draft me. I've always wanted to be a detective and now I have fulfilled my dream.

I have been given the case of investigating the F.P.A.S. The case is codenamed "Shadow3". Another O.D.A. member was given the case of the missing boy. He went to Citadark Isle to see if the reports were true of the ghost. He never returned nor did the boat that carried him. I intend to investigate that aswell. I am scheduled to meet with a Gym leader to ask him or her some questions. I am on my way as we speak. The Gym is in Pyrite Town so it shouldn't be too long of a ride. I am taking the Subway that they have just built from the Pokemon Research Lab.
End of Entry

After I had finished writing the entry, I placed the notepad in my green pocket. I was headed through the Subway and had a rough ten minutes left in the trip. So I had decided to take those ten minutes to catch up on his research. I pulled his Laptop out from my black backpack and went to the internet. Typing in, "F.P.A.S." came up with no results. "Turtwig, I don't understand. If they are who they claim to be, then they should have many websites." Turtwig was sitting next to me on the soft seat and looking at the empty result page. "Tuurtwig... (This is hopeless...)" The next thing I typed was "Federal Pokemon Agency of Superiority" and still came up with no results. I even tried looking for them with the advanced search and came up with nothing. Ten minutes of completely useless searching had gone by and they had arrived in the Underground. Turtwig and I had a little time on their hands so we decided to get a bite to eat.

12:40 PM
The Underground Chow sounded the best. Mostly because we are vegitarians and they are the only burger joint that sells vegie burgers. "Two Vegie Burgers please." Handing the counter person 100 Poke Dollars made him pretty happy, considering I was only supposed to pay 50. We had received our finely prepared burgers in no time flat. Probably because of the extra 50 dollars I payed, and munched down with delight.

After we finished eating, I had was overheard a conversation at the table next to us. It included a big bulky man and a small scrawny person. "Listen Lug, we can't tell anyone of what you just got. You have to take a F.P.A.S. oath and swear not to tell." the small guy said in a whispered tone. "Oathmeal? I like Oathmeal hahaha! Where's my Oathmeal Jim?" Lug laughed. Jim slapped Lug right accross the face, "No you bone head! Not Oathmeal! Oh, just promise you won't tell anybody about you know what. Now stay here while I go to the bathroom." Jim left the table. I decided he might be a culprit of Shadow3, so I got out of my seat and walked over to sit down with Lug.

"Hello. I'm dete- I mean a boy doing surveys." Kyle started to explain. Lug was looking clueless. I pulled out his notepad and started to write, "Suspicious character at Underground Chow. I am going to ask a few questions..." Underground Chow was fairly empty with only Lug, Jim and I eating there. I started, "Are you a part of the F.S.A.P.?" "Uuuuuggg, Jim said not to tell you that I am in that thing you just said..." Lug appeared to be very stupid to me. "I see, and can you tell me what you received from the F.S.A.P.?"

In the bathroom, Jim was finishing up his "buisness" by washing his hands. He dried them off and left for the door. Once he got out, he saw Lug and a boy talking. "Oh no, LUG!!!"

"Well, Jim said not to tell you that I got a Shadow Pokemon from that thing you just said..." Lug was holding his head out of confusion. It appears that Lug would get confused from even the most trivial conversations. Jim came in and said, "I knew it, there is more Shadow Pokemon! I'll just take this bad boy to the station up in Pyrite! Byebye!" I couldn't help but laugh at their poor attempts to trick me, "And who might you be? You can't be an officer in those ragedy old clothes." "What? Who you callin' ragedy? I put the sty in style! And for your information, I am a detective like you!" There is no way that he could've been a detective. "Well, where's your badge?" I just had to ask it to see what he would come up with.

After I asked that question, Jim jumped on Lug's back, "Gideeyap! We gotta' get outta here, he knows too much!" and Lug ran off quite fast. I decided that I might aswell follow. "Turtwig, we've got a chase!" we followed the two into another restaurant, only this one was fancy, despite being underground with dirt. He ran up some stairs that were in the corner. We still followed. It led us to a pathway on the outside, above the door of the restaurant.

"It's over. Just give up now and we won't have any problems." I was prepared for a fight, considering that they are criminals for participating in Shadow3. "I'll handle this, don't use you know what. If he sees it, he will have proof and would convict us." Jim the smarter of the two. "Turtwig, use Tackle!" Turtwig launched itself at Lug and Jim with impresive speed. They had jumped out the way. Jim hit the wall on the left, and Lug fell of the path on the right. Jim made a clang sound and Lug landed with a VERY heavy thud. "Tuuurtwiig! (Idiots.)" Jim saw his partner was no where in sight, he looked down and saw him running off. "LUG!!! WAIT FOR ME!!!" Jim also dropped down now. With his small size, I thought he would kill himself with a fall from that height.

Orre Adventures: Detective Files Chapter One

Chapter One: Enter-Officer Neil

1:00 PM
Well, it was time for my meeting with the Gym Leader. Turtwig followed me to the elevator. We took it with a few other people. One of them was a little girl. She was admiring Turtwig. When we finally reached the top the elevator dinged. The doors opened to what used to be Mirror B.'s old hideout. It was now the ONBS (Orre National Broadcast Station). Above in the cave, many Rock and Ground Pokemon live. My boss told me that they put the Gym right in Duel Square. All the local trainers were outraged, yet they had no power to stop it. The gym covered most of Duel Square, leaving only a small walkway to pass by. I looked up and saw it said "Pyrite Gym". I read the sign next to the door, "Gym Leader: Rojo/Winning Trainers: Cory, Lug and Jim" Well, I've seen Lug and Jim, but who was Cory? Maybe I will meet him eventually.

Anyway, I went through the automatic doors to see a sand pit infront of me. Clear on the other side was the Gym Leader it seemed. "Hello trainer! I see you've came to challenge me to a match!" Rojo was yelling. Rojo was much like Lug, only he had a few smarts. "No, I'm your one'o'clock. I'm the detective." Rojo was scratching his head until he finally remembered who I was, "Oh yes! Your the detective that O.D.A. will never see again hehehe..." When he started whispering, I knew he was up to something. I looked at the sandpit again. It was full of Trapinch. "So, if I amy ask, what is this sandpit for?" "Oh that? That is to seperate the strong brick from the weak feathers! Challengers will have to go through it to face me." It made sense. Not many weak trainers would dare go through a pit of raging Trapinch. "So, do I have to go through it?" "Of course! This will show if you are a weak detective or not! Hehehe..."

It seemed I would have to go. It was a swirling pit of biting and hissing Trapinch. You could tell by the look of my face that it would be painfull. So I did what I had to do. I jumped in with Turtwig staying in place. "Turtwiiig!!! (Don't do it dude!)" I thought that Turtwig was encouraging me to go. I was sliding down slowly. Just little by little I got closer to the Trapinch. As I got closer, Rojo's smile got bigger. Finally, I was at the bottom. But to my surprise, the Trapinch had stopped biting. So I climbed out to meet Rojo. His mouth was agape as if he was stunned.

"Well, that wasn't too tough." I pulled out my notebook. "Tell me a little about F.P.A.S." I asked to start the session. Rojo was hesitant, butt finally said "Well, we are an organization that works for all that is reighteous." It sounded a little corny to me but we continued, "I have looked for a website about you guys several times on many different search engines. Each time it comes up with no results. How can you explain that?" Again, he was hesitant. "We are quite new so I wouldn't expect to get a website yet." I knew that his answers were all cover ups. "Now, here is your final question. Is it true, that you give people who beat you a Shadow Pokemon?" I was waiting for a cover up. I got no response though.

"You know too much... GO SANDSLASH!!!" I knew they gave away Shadow Pokemon. "Turtwig, get over here!" Turtwig stepped back. He was scared, "Turtwiiiig!!! (No way man!)" As I turned around to look at Turtwig, Sandslash used Crush Claw. He cheated and caught me off guard. Then I thought that no Pokemon would attack a human. It knocked me back into the pit. Rojo pressed a button on the wall that appeared to make the Trapinch violent.

I was falling into the sandpit. I was right, F.P.A.S. was making Shadow Pokemon. But no one would know because he would trap me in that infenal pit forever. But, right before I fell in, Turtwig managed to leap over, grab my shirt and make it to the other side. "Nice job Turtwig. Now, use Tackle!" I told him. He charged at the Sandslash and hit it head on. It knocked it back and did minor damage. "Tuurtwiig! (Take that sucker!)"

"Mwahahahaha!!! You think you can beat a Shadow Pokemon that easy? Well, you've got another thing coming. Shadow Rush!" Sandslash rammed Turtwig. It knocked him out unfortunately. "Turtwig! Arrg, I knew it was a Shadow Pokemon..." Sandslash was preparing for another assault. This time on me. "Finish it. Now no one will know of our plans! Mwahahahahahah!!!" Rojo was cynical. Very cynical. Sandslash hit me across the room where I hit the door.

***

Outside the door, alot of people were watching us. It seemed that they didn't know it was a Shadow Pokemon and how serious the matter was. When I hit the door, they all jumped back. "Is he okay?" "I dunno." "Maybe we should call Officer Neil?" they were all confering with each other. One decided to get the Pyrite Town Police Officer. "Officer Neil Officer Neil! There are bad people in da Gymy thing!" to my luck, it was a small boy. Neil decided he'd better check it out. He left the rusty old station and calmly walked out. All the people jailed would be cusing at him and shouting to let them out. The boy was eagerly following Neil to the Gym.

When he arrived at the door, he saw me lying on the ground, Turtwig being continuously hit and Rojo eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I didn't know why he was eating though. Anyway, he entered, "Gym Leader Rojo! I'm placing you under arrest for Pokemon and um, human cruelty!" Neil went in very valliantly. Rojo was caught off guard. He wasn't expecting a Police Officer to arrive on the scene. Although to my relaif, one did. "Well, an officer of the law! I'm shivering! Nothin' we can't handle, right Sandslash?" Rojo mocked him and signaled Sandslash to attack. It jumped high over the pit and near Neil. "Please, let's go Sceptile!" He threw the red and white pokeball. It opened with a shine and let loose a big gecko.

"Now, use Leaf Blade!" Sceptile's arm leaf grew larger with a green light, it quickly ran behind Sandslash without anybody knowing. I couldn't see it run, it was too fast. Sceptile slashed its back and left it knocked out with a single hit. Rojo looked shocked, "WHAT!?! Oh crap, we gotta' take the escape pod!" he returned Sandslash into the Pokeball and pressed another button on the wall. A hidden wall opened to see a Rojo sized missle like machine. He went inside, pressed another button and shouted, "See ya'll later!" as he shot out from the top. Who knows where he landed after that.
