Okay, so I've been testing this team for a bit and i still have a losing ratio of about 1:2 and don't know how to fix it. any help would be appreciated.
Hippowdon
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP, 168 Def, 88 SpD
Item: Leftovers
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Ice Fang
Slack Off
This Hippowdon has a lot of success on the team as a lead because it also acts as a wall and can even take down a few enemy pokemon because of STAB Earthquake and so many pokemon that are weak to ice that even without stab Ice Fang deals a lot of damage.
Forretress
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP, 112 Atk, 144 Def
Item: Leftovers
Spikes
Rapid Spin
Gyro Ball
Explosion
This guy acts as a spiker and spinner while doing some damage with Gyro Ball and acting as a sweeper check with Explosion. He also can wall many Physical attacks and more then a few resisted special attacks.
Breloom
Nature: Jolly
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
Item: Toxic Orb
Spore
Focus Punch
Substitute
Leech Seed
This is the guy I am most likely to replace. When he comes in, most people switch so I usually open with Leech Seed followed by Spore. This increases recovery and allows him to use more subs as well as survive longer in sandstorm. once he gets a sub up he starts punching things in the face. I use jolly because people expect him to be Adamant or Impish so the speed gives me a chance at beating their counter. He also is a status absorber.
Salamence
Nature: Rash
EVs: 80 hp, 252 SpA, 176 Spe
Item: Life Orb
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Brick Break
Roost
The wall breaker of the team. Draco Meteor takes a huge chunk out of anything that doesn't resist it and Fire Blast takes a chunk out of anything that does. Brick Break is there because the things that can take Draco Meteor and Fire Blast probably can't take a Brick Break and stay in. Roost for survivability and removal of ice and rock weakness for a turn.
Cradily
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP, 96 Def, 160 SpD
Item: Leftovers
Rock Slide
Toxic
Recover
Protect
This is my special wall that can take a physical hit. It also acts as a bulky water counter by using the ToxiStall strategy. Rock Slide for STAB.
Gyarados
Nature: Impish
EVs: 248 HP, 248 Def, 12 Spe
Item: Leftovers
Rest
Sleep Talk
Roar
Waterfall
Staller, status absorber, and shuffler all in one, the primary problem with him is that his STAB attack isn't obscenely powerful.
I have been thinking about switching Breloom for a SubRoost Aerodactyl or a Bulky SubSeeder. I may also change Forretress to a Specially defensive version or to a Special Defense Skarmory for shuffling and immunity to ground. Anyone have any suggestions?
