I've only ever made a few competitive teams, so I'm still not great at doing it. I've been using this one for a while now and it seems to work okay but it's nothing special. I got the idea from reading an issue of The Smog, using Cresselia and Lunar Dance to heal one of my sweepers but I never find it very useful, the rest of the team I just threw together myself. I'm thinking of replacing Lucario with Breloom as I have huge troubles with Gastrodon and Swampert.

Azelf.gif

Azelf@Focus Sash
Nature: Naive
EV's: 4Atk / 252SpA / 252Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Psychic
- Explosion
- Fire Blast

488.png

Cresselia@Light Clay
Nature: Bold
EV's: HP220/ Def124/ Spd164
-Light Screen
-Moonlight
-Psychic
-Lunar Dance

Breloom_Shiny.png

Breloom@Toxic Orb
Nature: Adamant
EV's 48HP / 252Atk / 208Spe
- Spore
- Focus Punch
- Seed Bomb
- Stone Edge

145.png

Zapdos@Leftovers
Nature:Bold
EV's HP248/ Def228/ Spd32
-Thunder Wave
-Roost
-HP Ice
-Thunderbolt

I've actually found Zapdos pretty useful on occasions where I paralyse, Roar and then Roost off the damage.
EDIT: I've replaced Roar with HP

Salamence.gif

Salamence@Life Orb
Nature: Naughty
EV's: 252 Atk/24 SAtk/232 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast

EVs:
I was thinking of getting rid of Crunch and moving the Atk EV's into Speed because I most other dragons I come up agaisnt outrun it. I'm thinking I might even put a scarf on it, thoughts?
EDIT: I've changed the set to the one PlatinumDude suggested

212_Sprite_HgSs_Cropped.png

Scizor@Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EV's: HP248/ Atk252/ Spd10
-Bullet Punch
-Pursuit
-Superpower
-U-Turn

It works, I'll probably leave it the way it is.

Any help, ideas or constructive criticism would be appreciated.

About Salamence...

Try making it a Dragon Dancer with this set:

-Dragon Dance
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast
Item: Life Orb/Lum Berry
Nature: Naughty/Naive
EVs: 252 Atk/24 SAtk/232 Spe

If you don't want to use this set, replace Crunch with Earthquake and give it the Choice Scarf.

Thanks for replying, I'll give the DD set a go.

About Zapdos...

Having T-bolt as your lone offensive attack leaves you walled by Ground types like Swampert.

Try this instead:
-Thunderbolt
-Roost
-Heat Wave/Roar
-Hidden Power Ice/Grass
Item: Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 248 HP/228 Def/32 Spe

or:
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Ice/Grass
-Heat Wave
-Roost
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Modest/Timid
EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe

-Fake Out Ape is better imo. If Ape doesn't work for you, you can try Ambipom, Counter Lead Lucario, or if you need something with bulk to lead you can try Metagross, Heatran or even Aerodactyl because he's a fast Taunt-er and pretty strong too. Other's that work quite well are Azelf, Roserade, and Swampert.

-Well the problem you have with Cress is no Moonlight..so that means your wall is pretty much just sitting there taking damage the whole time. You need Moonlight more then Lunar Dance, that way you can brush off damage and stall. If Cress doesn't work for you, you can try Bronzong, Jirachi, Uxie, Blissey or Vaporeon.

-The thing with Luke is, you have to have good predictions. Luke isn't bulky enough to take on so many threats the OU metagame has for him so maybe getting a Sub in there would be great or if you like Loom you can try Breloom's Swords Dance set. With Breloom you pretty much Spore the opponent and then you can set up your Swords Dance's, I have one on my team.

-I'd highly suggest Heat Wave>Roar for Zapdos.

-Keep DD/Mixmence...just try out different moves since he has a pretty decent movepool.

-Scizor looks good.

Thanks for all the help guys, I really do appreciate it.

I think I'll try a lead Azelf instead of Infernape cause I've used a Fake Out Ape before and I didn't like it much.

I've never used Breloom before but it sounds interesting so I'll give it a try and replace Luke with it.

I'll try out Moonlight on Cresselia but I think I'll keep Lunar Dance, that way I can stall late game until I want to switch to a damaged sweeper, which will most likely be Scizor or Brelooom both which will be more affected by specially based attacks fire and psychic attacks respectively. This way I can get rid of Reflect and still not have to worry about being left wide open to attacks like Fire Blast and Psychic.

With Zapdos, I'm gonna use HP Ice over Roar because I don't have any Ice attacks on any of my pokes and if a dragon comes into play the only super effective move I have is Salamence's Outrage.

Breloom is good, but take Stone Edge off and put Substitute in its place. That way you get a free Focus Punch. No one flinches when sub is attacked while Focus Punching.

I know that Substitute has good synergy with Focus Punch, but it really messes up Breloom's type coverage. It takes away Breloom's only way of dealing with Flying types.

Yeah but the problem with the increased coverage is you lose the guaranteed Focus Punch. Of course it is up to you, but my opinion is that SubPunching is more useful. However, a more unorthodox approach is to replace Spore with Substitute. Not recommended but the option is there nonetheless.

Thankyou for your input but I'm gonna stick with Stone Edge since I already get a free Focus Punch with Spore without losing damage.
Also like PlatinumDude said, if I get rid of Stone Edge I'm left with one offensive attack and no way to deal with dangerous fire types.
