So, I felt like playing shoddy today. I tailored a team first with my favouites, then with one or two to make the team better. I did a few battles and liked the playstyle offered. Now, unto the real thing,
Doomy - The Truck Lead
Dragonite @ Life Orb
Quiet
Inner Focus
252 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
~ Draco Meteor
~ Fire Blast
~ ExtremeSpeed
~ Earthquake
The deal is - hit them hard, don't worry about set ups. Draco Meteor hits most leads for an incredible damage, Fire Blast offers help against the Steel leads, Extremespeed is good to catch faster but frail leads and EQ helps against the likes of Infernape. I have had problems with Aero, but only because I was not prepared. Empoleon pairs up well with 'nite and he is a good counter against Aero.
Bo - The Sweeper who likes Substitutes
Gengar @ Leftovers
Timid
Levitate
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
~ Substitute
~ Shadow Ball
~ Focus Blast
~ Hypnosis
I love how easy it is to get Gengar in play - his immunity to at least 3 types is amazing. He hits hard and fast, and grats to Sub and his devil speed he can manage to "tank" if needed. Hyp works well on predicted switches, even if it's not that reliable. Shadow Ball and Focus Blast offer a very nice coverage, though Focus Blast can let me down sometimes.
Emperor - Tank 'em, Crush 'em
Empoleon @ Leftovers
Calm
Torrent
252 HP / 160 Def / 92 SpD / 4 Spe
~ Surf
~ Ice Beam
~ Stealth Rock
~ Yawn
Very nice overall tank, able to cause some havoc with Surf and Ice Beam. Yawn is incredible, the opponent either switches or falls asleep in the next turn. Either way, this let's the fella to set up SR and then procced to some sweeping fun. He can't heal himself properly, though, but that's not much of a problem.
Blacky - The Supporter who likes to Tank
Umbreon @ Leftovers
Careful
Synchronize
252 HP / 92 SpD / 164 Spe
~ Wish
~ Payback
~ Protect
~ Yawn
A really nice supporter. She can yawn, then wish, then either pass the Wish if the target fell asleep, repeat if that isn't the case, do some minor sweeping or stall. For that, I love this little critter.
Scorp - The Dancer of Death
Gliscor @ Life Orb
Jolly
Hyper Cutter
40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
~ Swords Dance
~ Earthquake
~ Stone Edge
~ Roost
An ice attack can screw him up, but if I manage to get one (or more!) sword's dance up this guy rocks with EQ and the risky stone edge. Since he's naturally bulky he can stall a bit with the help of roost, or just regen the HP lost from damage taken and Life Orb. I also love his immunity to electric and ground, making it easier to get him in play.
Joy - That Headache Bitchy Tank!
Blissey @ Leftovers
Calm
Natural Cure
4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
~ Wish
~ Protect
~ Seismic Toss
~ Toxic
She is amazing, takes even large hits and still holds her ground. Toxic -> Wish -> Protect combo is lethal and amazing, and Seismic toss is a great help as a finisher. Her nemesis is Gengar, immune to both Toxic and Seismic Toss. In this case, the best is to switch to anyone else, though Blacky is generally the best option.
And that's it. Thanks for reading and I'll be waiting your feedback! (I may add images later).
