I thought it'd be fun (and time consuming) to arrange a list of people's favorite band or artist into a big list, and discover who our forum's favorite band/artist is.

I'm uncertain as to whether or not this is obvious, but you post your favorite band/artist, and I'll add it to this post (in descending order) in time.

Coldplay, hands down.

I don't know about you, but I'm a bit sick of love songs. It seems most songs these days (if they aren't rap or heavy metal) are about love of some sort. But Coldplay rarely writes about love (That's right, I listen to the lyrics. Sue me. ), so when they do, it really does feel like it's from the heart (or something, but you get the idea). And their lyrics are always well-written and deep. Aside from lyrics, they make great music in general too.


Wait a sec... there's another Coldplay fan among us? WHO ARE THEY? I MUST KNOW!

Hard to pick just one as it seems to change fairly frequently. Flyleaf and Meg & Dia are two bands that occupy that spot often, so I'll go with them for now.
