Note-Sorry if this has been made(probably has),but I couldn't find one.

Our world is very different from the pokemon world.
How would our world change if there were pokemon?

For one, there'd probably be less pollution as people don't need cars, buses etc. they just fly on their pidgeoto.
There'd probably be more crime,as people would use pokemon to commit murder, robbery, etc.

But what are your thoughts?

Could Pidgeotto carry people? Especially adults?

But, probably, let's see...there'd be organizations like Team Rocket to steal Pokemon. People would probably be more respectful to Pokemon, and animals in general, as Pokemon can attack using fire, water, etc. I agree with the more crime, as Pokemon can squeeze through places, unseen, as people can't. Although I don't think they'd commit murder. People might also do more travelling. And they'd probably be more interested, in not sports and such, but in the competitions, in the Regional Leagues, and so forth.

just think if animals had the power to shoot powerful beams of energy or water, fire, electricity, etc. I'm not sure their would be more crime because Pokes can also be used as guards (like Growlithe and Officer Jenny)

But the amount of greed and evil in our world seems greater than there's...and Pokemon would absolutely be used for killing people. :(

we would probly have people traveling on pokemon and keeping them as pets and such

I would say that's more a consequence of the world being idealized for children than an actual lack of greed. Not all the badguys are on large organizations that all conveniently start with "team" (or end in "squad").

There would be no energy crisis, but urbanization would be massive due to the dangers of living in the wild and rural areas, and if Pokémon are capturable, there would be a lot of crime and war due to their powers and availability.

I think religion would be interesting...it seems to be so much more relaxed there, and only a few characters spring to mind who'd be considered fanatical (showverse Eusine being the only non-Galactic, too).

It's kinda hard to fight wars over a god who gives the thumbs up, you know (perhaps Buddy Lugia is their version of Buddy Christ!).

Maybe pokemon could have a sort of gut instinct that tells them what is right or wrong.
Or maybe your trainer card could be used as a sort of license which limits what you can or can't do based on experience or something.

well for one i think most sport would be replaced by pokemon battling.
i agree with whoever said we'd be more respectful to animals/pokemon.
and i think we would be less technologically developed.

Yom-tah.

But the people who would misuse Pokémon in the first place wouldn't follow such laws anyway.

Yes, but then the government would probably have a lot more than just a few Officer Jennies in place to keep those individuals in check. Not that it would always work, of course, but it would at least help to keep the pandemonium down some.
