Outside music you wish would be used in the anime

Since the last topic I started ended up being somewhat negative (though interesting), I wanted to start a topic that would be more positive.

What outside (non-Pokemon) music would you like to see used in the anime? It could be used in referenceto a character, to set a mood, or even as a theme. No limitations on artists, songs, genres, years, or royalty budgets.

I'm curious to see what people will come up with. I'll chime in from time to time with ideas.
 
Dramatic Ash "I'm gonna win!" moments: Frog's theme (Chrono Trigger)
Crazy Brock moments: Palom and Porom (FF IV)
Cave scenes: Into the Darkness (FF IV)
Girl's theme: Zelda's Lullaby (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time)
Got item/Pokemon/whatever: Zelda got item stinger
 
Personally, certain soundtracks from other anime like Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh would be nice... but in order for it to work, the show's mood would have to change entirely since the two types of anime are totally different.

One is basically centered around a main character walking the earth trying to acheive his dream of being a master at whatever the series revolves around (For Naruto, it's being the top Ninja (whatever the hell that's called), for One Piece, it's being the Pirate King, for Pokémon, it's being a Pokémon Master)

Meanwhile, anime like Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star are "slice of life" anime that revolve around a cast of characters, usually High School age.

My idea for what soundtrack would work would only work if the Pokémon anime was the latter rather then the former.

Other then that, Pokémon's current Japanese soundtrack is perfect the way it is (the overseas version is acceptable most of the time).
 
Probably anything from Morcheeba, Broadcast, Amon Tobin, Jackson and His Computer Band, and Grizzly Bear. That, and some of Aphex Twin's more ambient songs.

JaHCB and Aphex Twin specifically for the action-packed scenes.
 
"Climax Jump" from Den-O (*chuckles imagining "Climax Jump Sinnoh Form"*)

"Mayonaka no Door" from PPGZ (for some reason I've been mentally associating this one with Aipom)

"Shoujo Meiro de Tsukamaete" from Strawberry Panic (as a Dawn&Zoey battle theme)

man, what I'd do to get the rights to Hiromi Sato's "Love Trap" for use in an erog- Wait, we're just talking about the actual anime? I don't know... isn't this what AMVs are for? Anyway, I agree with PDL, the Japanese soundtrack is good as is, for the most part (they REALLY need to stop with Symphonic Medley). It sure would be nice if they played some of Genius Sorority's tunes, though. T_T Also, I must admit, a lot of the movie soundtracks seem rather forgettable to me (despite being some of the few Pokemon BGMs that have a truly "epic" feel to them)... though, maybe it's because I just don't hear them enough to get perfectly lodged into my brain (as you can tell, I'm not exactly the type of person who can watch the same movie over and over again ^^'.... in fact, I can hardly tell when these tracks play in an episode until someone on the forum points it out).
