What's VLK without her dozen pictures done a month? (Don't answer that.) As usual, the usual! *Smiles broadly*

Pokemon:
An older version of Coline and her Eevee/Umbreon: This was a pencil attempt since I was jealous of my e-mail pal's work.
Me and 3 of my Red team Pokemon: Haven't done a trainer pic in ages, and I'd figure I'd acknowledge the three non-powerhouses on my Red team.
Dance Dance Revoltion, Pokemon style!: Decided to get my annoying Pokemon, Sunkissed competing against a loud mouth Jigglypuff. I like the text personally.
Delcatty winning a Pokemon beauty contest: Old picture, finally CGed it. I wanted to show off the pretty appearance of Delcatty by having it show up a Ninetails and an Espeon.

Critters:
Make-up mermaid: A mermaid done entirely in make-up (eyeliner, lipstick, eyeshadow). It's strange to me.
Ladydevimon: I hate her! She's hard to draw! And ugly! And... grr. I hate this request with a passion.
Strange acting Vicebane and Mewblade: I got bored, honest to the world I did. So I wanted to see if I could legitimately make a picture with the pair of Mewthree "interacting"... I like the background on it, and the bit of blood splatter. ^^;

People:
... i'd post something, but my homestead ate the page it seems. *Stares in shock at the program* Anyway, enjoy, criticism is most appreciated.

I am floored by Coline and Umbreon. It's so soft, and Umbreon's so fuzzy and realistic. That and DDR. So hilarious.

If it's not obvious, I have no criticism. ^^; Mewthree scare me. There. I hope you can recover your lost page with people.

Again, I'm really impressed by the variety of media you use for your artwork. I don't have anything particular to point as a critic. The Dance Dance Revolution is really funny. LadyDevimon looks like it was a piece of official Digimon art, this one must be one of your best pictures. And I love the poses and colors you used for the second pic.

Keep up the good work, VLK!

 

[Eclipse Umbreon]

Nice, nice stuff.

An older version of Coline and her Eevee/Umbreon: It looks nice. The human could use a few anatomy corrections ( I won't say, 'cause it's a finished piece ), but all in all I like it. The Umbreon looks all furry 'nd scruffy, I like realistic effect.=D

Me and 3 of my Red team Pokemon: Man, that Snorlax has one heckuva attitude. I love it! The more expressions the better. I also really like the way you did Moltres' fire. Nice job on this'n.

Dance Dance Revoltion, Pokemon style!: *Laughs* I've played this game and I absolutely love how you made this picture. Probably my favorite of the lot. Keep up the themed stuff.

Delcatty winning a Pokemon beauty contest: This is a nice one, too. Delcatty looks as though it knew it was going to win all along. Only thing about this, is, if they were all in proportion. But, I'm not sure how big Delcatty is in comparison of Nine-tails.

Make-up mermaid: I like the eyes. This picture has a nice essence to it. Can't criticize, 'cause it's yer own creation. Nice. ^_^

Ladydevimon: Even though ya' may hate it with a passion, it's a really nice piece.

Strange acting Vicebane and Mewblade: I like this piece almost as much as the Dance / Dance one. I like the Mew-creatures you come up with. Wow, seein' this, I'd really like to do a Poke'Art trade with ya' sometime.

Coline and her Eevee/Umbreon: Awesome! I love how you made a the light in it while useing only black and white. it gives so much nice contrasts, using all the shades and textures. I like the texture on Umbreon, it looks nice being all the furry. Coline's right leg and feet look a bit small to me, maybe due the angle?

Me and 3 of my Red team Pokemon: Moltres's just adorable! And I love how you made it's fire look, and those eyes :awww: Mew looks cute and the way it has wrapped it tail around you adds a nice effect. I like the texture on your clothes, the shading of it and esspecially (for some strange reason) your sunglasses. Snorlax looks OK too, I like it how you sit on it, only it looks a bit small, esspecially th head. But that makes it look somewhat cute as well

Dance Dance Revoltion, Pokemon style!: Haha, this one's funny! I like Sunkissed, she looks so lovely. I love the expresions of both Pokemon and their poses. The coloring of it looks soft and smooth

Delcatty winning a Pokemon beauty contest: I just love the expresion on their faces. Just look at that Ninetails That one looks a bit like a over-make-uped poodle, really funny. And that jealours Espeon, I like her expresion. Delcatty really looks like a winner. I like the way you made the eyes of those three.

Make-up mermaid: I like the original idea behind it. It loks really special and I like how the lipstick (I think?) made up the stripes and misty effects of it. I love how the eyes are done as well (eyeliner?)

Ladydevimon: I love this one. You really worked on the details in it. The shading on it is nice, with all the black and white contasts it causes and with a normal picture, I think it should be totaly perfect, butin this caseI'd like to see it a bit more darker and heavier contrasted, (considering how nice that looked on the first picture) while leaving the colored part away, havig it only in black white and red. But that's just personal taste ;-)

Strange acting Vicebane and Mewblade: , this one has some scary aura arounbd it. I acctually love it. I love the face expressions and how the poses come out shaded and all. The energy and their hands and the way it collides looks nice, really like energy. Maybe their could have been some shading of the Mewthree on the background. And the purple part of Mewblade (at least, I think tha's Mewblade, am not 100% sure) looks colored and shaded so nice

Yaaay, bulk-package.

Coline and Umby :: Ah, the shading is lovely, and the shine effect around her right hand is nice. Couple little anatomy quirks, but they didn't distract from the overall lovelyness of the image at all.

Red Team Groupshot :: *joins everyone in adoring the Moltres' fire-crest* ... and wow, I love that Snorlax. XD; Mew looks darling, as usual. ^^

DDR-PokéStyle :: I love this. XD; Jigglypuff looks very appropriatly annoyed, while Sunkissed is just so happy. Nice, bright colouring on this. ^^ What's the next song gonna be? Pink Ivysaur, or Boom Boom Donphan?

Declatty :: Aww, the Espy looks so sad. ;_; But it has a cute ribbon. ^^; I was going to say something about Delcatty's hind legs looking odd, but then I remembered they really do look like that. ^^;; Arr.

Mermaid :: That's a medium I wouldn't have expected. :< It's a neat design - it stands out from the way other mermaids are drawn (i.e: just the upper-torso of a woman on the tail of a fish). It gives it a sort of alien look. Love. <3

LadyDevimon :: It -is- very well-done. I can imagine it was hard to draw, but it really looks wonderful. The pose is fluid, the expression is fitting... all the detail on the chain is a nice touch, as well.

Vicebane + Mewblade :: Beautiful colouring and shading. You really have to wonder what happened previously, and what's going to happen with this one... The effects are purdy, too. :>

Pika-Zukin: Thanks for the comments, and by the way, you draw well and your artwork is worth commenting on.

Kasumi Chan: Thank you. I still think Ladydevimon sucks though... (Is a personal basher of own artwork) but it builds my confidence, merci.

Eclipse Umbreon: The first one has poor anatomy, it is not accurate at all, so if you feel that there is something worth pointing out, it's okay. I'll keep it in mind. Although I can't fix it because the background was sealed with a chartpak blender.
For the picture with the Delcatty, umm, no idea what size any are. ^^:
I criticize a lot of creations for people, generally anatomy is consistent at least in this world, but... yeah... umm. I forgot where I was going with this.
Art trade, sure! Love the idea although I am a little overloaded with art just this moment. Maybe a week or so from now, and that would work.

Purple Kecleon: Well my art is anime based, generally some of the styles are mimiced from others.

Flare-Espeon: I'd say that since the proportions are way off in the first one, that evidently the feet would be wrong.
Heehee, you noticed the sunglasses, I love that. (And the Snorlax's head size problem...) Thanks.
And you're a good judge of make-up, just to tell you.
For Ladydevimon, I see where you're coming from with your idea. As for the shading, she is wearing like leather, and it is suppose to look as it is. *Grumbles*
Actually, I should have probably done the shadow for the pillar since it would likely show. Or not, depending. The Mewthrees' shadows would not based on the angle of the light source which is top, left. Thanks though for mentioning it. Actually, before I got a chance to post back, I read through your reply and had to add a little bit of lighting to the purple of Mewblade's tail. I'm such a basket case.


Kauri: Thanks for the comments and all. Umm, that first picture again and the anatomy. ^^; Jeesh, I'm going to remember to pay attention to it.
Nice suggestions for song names. I could almost see someone getting the original lyrics and making them Pokemon.
In a way, that mermaid is alien. It was somewhat inspired from a video game.
You probably don't know what Ladydevimon's chains are like, they're very detailed. I pity the poor saps that have to animate her.
